First day not so good experience on basement floor, but we got room change afterward, then i want to have recommand. Nice staffs and really helpful and i cant find complaint. Room quite big in taipei and location is close to go many hot spot. Facilities are new and in good condition, even better than some hotel

Small and cozy accommodation, but not sure if the staff are on-site”

The room and everything was very value for money, the only issue I was concerned about was the staff as they weren't always on-site, otherwise, this place is located in a relatively safe district surrounded by government buildings (nearest MRT: Xiaonanmen, 5mins walk). It's a pretty small 5-storey apartment/guesthouse-type in an old building. The interior was well decorated. We arrived early before the check-in time to drop off our luggages, but had to wait outside the front door for the staff to arrive as the door didn't open for us and the front desk was empty. One night, the front door alarm went off and no one attended to it, so we decided to go down to shut it with our guest cards. I'm not sure if the staff were even on-site, which brings my concern to the safety of the accommodation if any emergency issues do arise. So far, I've only seen 3 staff in total, they were all friendly and helpful.

Incredibly helpful girl at front desk went out of her way to give me directions, help me with transportation, answer every question. Room was extremely clean and comfortable, very quiet, perfect. Good location close to metro and interesting part of the city. Super value for the price.

Beautiful room and stay”

The room was spacious and well designed. Bed was comfy and pillows were fluffy. What’s amazing was the storage cabinet on the first level where any perishables/amenities were there to be utilized/brought up to your own room. Definitely a good and clean stay. Con: maybe a little bit more of a walk from ximending (nightlife).

i spent a lot of time to find good hotel. then choose chez no.5. it was great decision. the room was warm like thier hotel staffs. All the conditions of the room were very new and neat!! it's five min. far from Ximen station.

Unexpected high cp value hostel”

3mins walk from mrt station and within 5mins walk to xingmending area! Quiet and clean! Comfortable bed with full set amenity applies! Staff are nice and restaurants downstairs are very local and delicious! Will visit again definitely!

Wow wow wow Wonderful Stay ”

Good location , near the MRT , bed is very comfortable , they are so nice to free upgrade us to 4 pax room , we really very appreciate for that . We will go back again while we go to Taiwan . Everything is prefect to us . Thanks for it :)

Nice hotel but bad services”

Designs are nice, with great facilities. Unfortunately the services were simply too poor, as there were none cleaning my room for 3nights of stays, yet for me to call and change used towels. The staff wasn’t available always, thus caused inconvenience. Additionally, the shower is pretty slow to turn into hot water. However, staffs were friendly. Location is just fine, nearby xiao nan men station. Should the services be improved by the staffs there, the value for money I have paid will be 5stars.

1.시먼근처라고 보기 어려움. 샤오난먼 역이랑 가까움. 가족단위 추천안함. Quite far from Ximen station. Closer to Xiaonanmen stn. Not recommended for family trip. 2. 상주 직원이 자주 자리 비움 직원 2명 뿐임. Staffs are often absent considering this place seems to have only 2 staffs. 3. 창문 없음. 이상한 싸구려 문 하나. 씨티뷰도 아닌 건물 뷰. No Window. it says City view but there is only a fire escape door which would not be considered as a Window. More precisely, the view of this room type is building view since you will only see the wall of the other building. 4. WORST HOUSEKEEPING. 레전드급 청소. 청소 해달라고 스티커 안붙이면 청소 안해줌. 첫 날은 까먹어서 그렇다 치고 둘째 날은 전화를 했음. 청소해 달라고. 그러니 알겠다고 하고 나중에 오니 그대로. 물어보니 아줌마가 바쁘다함. 결국 3일동안 수건더미 쓰래기 쌓아놓고 숙박. You have to put a magnetic sticker on the door to get the housekeeping.(Not a do not disturb sign like other property) WHAT happens if u forget? Then no cleaning and even if you get to remember and call, they say yes and then still no cleaning. I asked and they said the cleaning lady is busy. SO for 3 nights of stay, no cleaning we got and had to bring the towels and waters of our own from the front desk. If this was airbnb I would have tried to understand. 5. 욕실창이 다 비침. 가족여행 비추. The glass wall of the bathroom, u can see through who is taking shower. Even with your family u do not want someone to see your naked body in the personal space, especially while ur doing number 2. Playing music in bathroom is a must. U know what I mean. Worst staying experience ever. Much better options with the extra amount and near Ximen stn.

Hotel located in a good location nearby to local food restaurants, 24 hours carrefour, ximending night market and mrt stations ..all this location is just between 5-10 mins walk. Small budget hotel but comfortable and clean.

Very stuffy in ground floor, no windows and no privacy”

They put is in an ultra-stuffy and smelly room on the ground floor, that was really bad. Cleaning person came in the morning, told her to come back in a few minutes as we were leaving, came back hours later to a dirty room. Service and overall level could be improved upon.

room same as photo, 2 rooms per floor, it a bit noise if you have noise neighbor . it seem like hostel than hotel. Room is clean and staff are helpful but the staff not always stay in counter. If you find them, you need to call then. i book the room for 4 (only 3 people in trip), sadly i know booking 2 people room can upgrade to my room. i pay much more t.t
