I recently had the pleasure of spending some time at Hotel 6 Wannien in the vibrant neighborhood of Ximending, Taiwan. Overall, my experience was quite positive, with several highlights that I'd like to share. One of the standout features of Hotel 6 Wannien is its fantastic location. Situated right in the heart of Ximending, it's an ideal base for exploring all that this lively area has to offer. The surrounding streets are filled with energy, and there's no shortage of shops, dining options, and entertainment venues just a stone's throw away. The hotel's ambiance adds to the charm of the stay. The interior is tastefully designed, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere. As for the rooms, they were comfortable and nicely appointed. A comfortable stay, and I especially enjoyed the great view from my room. The beds were cozy, and the overall cleanliness was noteworthy. However, I must mention a minor drawback that I encountered during my stay—the walls between rooms seem to be on the thinner side. This resulted in some noise from neighboring rooms being audible, particularly conversations and other sounds. While it didn't significantly impact my overall experience, it's something that the hotel management might consider addressing to enhance the overall comfort of guests. In conclusion, Hotel 6 Wannien offers a delightful stay in the heart of Ximending, with its prime location, pleasant ambiance, and comfortable rooms. While there is a slight concern regarding the sound insulation between rooms, it shouldn't deter you from considering this hotel for your stay. If you're seeking a convenient and cozy accommodation option in Taipei, Hotel 6 Wannien is certainly worth considering.

I love that their rooms are spacious. I think that's one their major plus points over other budget hotels. The toilet is also big. They have a bathtub-like shower area though the tub doesn't seem to work anymore. You won't be able to fill it. Not that we mind. The tiles aren't squeaky clean but it's understandable since it's an old building. It's still ok clean. There's unlimited tissues, shampoo, body gel, toothpaste. Unfortunately there's no soap. But they replenish the bottled water everyday and replace the towels, which we appreciate very much. Hot and cold water are also available in the staff area. The staff are very accommodating. The main room has no window but the toilet has. Their pillows are kinda flat though. I wish they could change them or they could add more. The TV had many channels. The building itself has a lot of entertainment facilities and shops. It's just around 5-minute walk to ximen station exit 6. Also 5 minute walk to donki and about 12-minute walk to Carrefour Guilin. Both 24 hour stores/supermarket. Lots of restaurants near by and small convenience stores. So much to choose from we wish we stayed long to try more lol. Overall, not a bad stay. We still recommend 👍

Excellent value for money ”
This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. My previous trip to Taiwan was about 10 years ago and the hotel was under a different name but I have had the same experience. The hotel is located in a very convenient location and has access to good food at the basement of the building and 3 floors of you and collectables shopping between levels 2,3 and 4 as well as an arcade on the level directly below however you can’t hear anything. The hotel rooms are very spacious and has great wifi and tv access. The room comes with all the standard inclusions you’d expect. On this last trip I didn’t have breakfast included due to unavailability of the room but I recall on my last trip the breakfast included was pretty standard and satisfying. The staff are quite friendly and helpful, I will make special mention of Ryan who was very kind to my little girl and wanted her to feel welcome. All in all it was a great stay again at the hotel and I would definitely stay here again. If you’re after a 5 star hotel then you’ll want to find something else, but if you’re after a comfortable place to sleep whilst you spend your holiday out and about, I would recommend this hotel.

We are a group of 5, and we are very satisfied with the service of this hotel, they provide daily housekeeping and supplies (water, toothbrush with toothpaste, tea, slippers and many more). I love that they have receptionist all the time and they are in front of elevator, easy to call and ask for anything. They provide free coffee, though americano and espresso lang ang option at least it:s free. Also water and coffee machine is just right next to the reception area you can refill anytime and ask assistance. 10/10 overall service and cleanliness and for the location also. Will surely book this hotel again. Thank you!
