I loved the place. It was clean and eventhough it was shared beds, you get your privacy with the curtains. Sheets were clean, toilets also. The place is also located near the street market and convenience stores. Easily accessible. No complaints during my stay.

Clean hostel, helpful staff”

If you're in Tamsui, this is a good hostel to consider. It is an easy location which you can get to about 10 minutes walking along the river from Tamsui MRT station. Free coffee, tea, warm water and utensils provided. Shower, toilet and dress sinks are separated but all are on same level. This is so that there is no hogging of showers/toilets. Lockers are big enough to put a big backpack, and you can find your new set of pillow + blanket + 2 hangers in your locker. Note that there is no ledge for the beds for you to put your stuff, so all needs to be on the bed or find some place/way near your bed. This hostel is also apparently popular with big group bookings - eg students. Staff are helpful when you approach or need their help.

The bed is clean and a little hard but the bed cover is really comfortable.. The room is clean and the toilet is clean. Breakfast only coffee tea and bread but that's ok.. The hotel is easy to find. Near bus stop and MRT Tamsui Station

Good service, Clean room”

Very convenient for someone who wanna spend a lot of time in Tamsui old street (Recommended). The hotel is quite far from the MRT station about 15 min walk. It's not convenient for someone who wanna travel in the city, bcz at least 40 - 50 you must spend time on the MRT from Tamsui station to Taipei main station. That make you can't stay late at night bcz you must think about the MRT service that will close after about 1 am.

Very clean and has everything you need. They have good coffee 24*7. A bit expensive compared to other hostel near Taipei Main though.

Lovely hostel”

I was only here for one brief night but the hostel had a really nice atmosphere. The lady working there was super friendly and we had a good chat about many things, including how Taipei would be great to cycle around, something I hope to do if I go back and this hostel would be a great place to stop along the way! Breakfast was basic but the coffee was great. The only negative was that you had to buy hand soap, a minimum requirement in my opinion. I would definitely stay here again, it was very close to the river and a nice little bar a couple of doors down.

Great hostel not too far from downtown taipei”

This is a great hostel! It is located in tamsui, a river- and seaside town near taipei with a nice old centre and waterfront, not even a minute from the hostel away. Downtown taipei is easily accesible (30-40 mins ride by MRT, MRT station is 10 mins walking from hostel). All members of staff are really nice, breakfast and some snacks in the evenig are free, as well as washing your clothes. Dorms are spacious, with big lockers and curtains for each bed. Bathrooms and showers are also spacious and very clean. I can't speak of a single negative thing about this hostel!

This hostel is clearly the best of its kind in this area. It's super clean (which is very important to me), very well designed and laid out, uses high-quality materials, and is very thoughtful in every way. Friendly and caring staff, simple but adequate breakfast, ample public space for guest use, strong and stable wifi everywhere, within walking distance of the MRT, and mere steps from the bus stops and a 7-Eleven. Now I need to find an excuse to go back. :-)

Although it's a 10 min walk from the MRT station. But once you settle down, it;s a short 100m walk to the seaside and the jetty, where you can take a boat ride to the Love Bridge. The Old Street stalls are just right outside. The place is almost brand new. Free use of washing machine and dryer for your laundry.
