Staying in Walker Hotel left us good memories and.fun. The room, bed, shower, facilities e fantastic”

What stood out here is the location. It is very near to fine restaurants like shabu shabu, Family Mart, Hi Life Convenience stores, Starbucks, KFC, and others. Other than that the MRT is just 300 meters far going to Taipei Bridge Terminal. The rooms are big and with wide space shower area. Facilities like aircon, tv, cable and wifi are perfect. Food for breakfast is authentic Taiwan. Area for improvement is the cleanliness outside the corridor and communication barrier especially in English

Big room”

The room is big and the bathroom is even bigger for a normal hotel bathroom. Overall the room is clean and the walking distant to Taipei Bridge metro is only 10 minutes. The only issue is the location which is outside of taipei and the old shops around the area. However the food here is cheap compare to the hotel area near the ximen. Overall my kids like the room especially the jacuzzi.

Walker Hotel ( Prev Xinshe Hotel)”

Also previously known as Xinshe Hotel. It is a 10mins walk from taipei bridge MRT station. Pretty far from the central but accessible by MRT. Room was relatively big. It would be good if there was a full length mirror and hooks in the toilet to hang clothes. Shower and toiletbowl was not seperated hence toilet bowl will get wet during a bath. Check in timing was late too, 5pm onwards but no late check out. Otherwise. Near the airport railway. Counter staff was friendly. Housekeeping on request. There was mosquitoes too.

Good option if on tight budget”

This place is a good option if people are on a tight budget. Their staff is also very friendly and helpful. However, in the bathroom, there was nothing defining the shower area and thus, after shower, literally everything in the bathroom gets soaking wet. The walls didn't do very well in sound proofing. I often wake up to loud neighbours walking and talking at 5-6am. The remote for air conditioning also seemed to be broken, my boyfriend had to sleep under blasting air conditioning and got a cold after our Taiwan trip. I personally would not come back again nor recommend it to my family and friends.

The aircon is so week, on for whole day not even feeling cold! The staff wasn't polite and somehow quite sarcastic. Only can check in after 5pm. WHY? Because 12-5pm is the peak timing for people to go over "REST & WASH UP" for 3hrs. The place wasn't hard to find but very Doggy!

Horrible Experience and bad service from the start”

We were given room 703 and it’s horribly unclean (it’s so dirty and no words can describe it) the floor feels unswept & the sofa bed is very very dirty and we caught two bugs on the bed . After that we called up and was given rm 607 , instead of them coming up to deliver the key for the next room they ask us to pack up and go down. The 607 was slightly better from the previous room but the condition of the sofa bed is still horrible . The toilet sink is very dirty and I would not recommend for a Long stay . The toilet shower head is also broken for room 607 and no one actually bothered to even change it . Only gave 2 packets of shower gel and shampoo which is obviously insufficient . Despite many repeated requests they still gave only 2 each . As for the breakfast , they did not offer much vegetarian options therefore I would not recommend this hotel for vegetarians. I was only served broccoli even being informed that I was there for 4 days . The staff is actually unsure if she even added meat in the food upon asking and didn’t even feel apologetic after that mistake as I had already consumed portion of the noodles which is vegetarian for the first two days . Though the location was great but the above points that I stated are things to consider before booking this hotel , especially their cleaniness.

Weird but comfortable”

This hotel was formerly known as Xinshe hotel and you'll still see a lot of signages saying so. It's a bit weird and not exactly in a posh neighborhood, but I guess you get what you pay for. Their hotel only occupies the 6th and 7th floor of a building and you take an elevator that is kind of out of the way so it's a bit weird. The rooms were very big for the price so space is not an issue. The toilets are relatively clean, 2 out of the 3 rooms we booked had bath tubs in them. I would guess that the place was recently renovated. The breakfast was just okay, a bit bland. Very few vegetarian options and a lot of the viands smelled weird. Toast and coffee is available so I guess that's always a safe choice. The nearest station is a 10-minute walk, but is very accessible. Overall, it's a definitely comfortable choice considering the price and location.

English speaking staff no need to worry, booking transaction no issues and MRT in walkable distance. Spacious rooms and luxurious washrooms with all amenities. Breakfast was good and I like the terms and conditions if any leftover one needs to pay 200 NT$ so limited garbage and no wastage of food.

Location is great, near to Taipei main station. Lots of food nearby. room is nice and spacious, very cozy, with a Spacious bathroom with comfy bathtub. Highly recommended for couple travelers.

We were staying at room 623, the room as big as the photo shows. However, there was one problem with the hotel no matter which room u will be staying. It is mosquito problem! U can easily find mosquitoes in the room or corridor. The hotel owns three floors of that building, and the others are commercial uses - massage place. I was lucky to put mosquito repellent spray on myself every night, but my hubby did not and he got more than six bites on his arms and body! I killed at least 4 mosquito when I stayed. I understood why many mosquito there as all the corridor doors were opened and hugh天井at each floor. Mosquito are easily access to the hotel via 天井. Other than that, I was very satisfied with the hotel location, less than 5 mins walk to MRT - Taipei Bridge Station. Hope the hotel will think of a way to stop the mosquito problem. Without the mosquito problem, I would strongly recommend this hotel to everyone going to Taipei to stay there.

Cozy, spacious, and good location.”

The room was too big! You can actually fit 8 people inside it. We were surprised that the room was that big as well as the bathroom. The bathroom has a large bathtub though it has no lock. We booked this room for a very cheap price so it is really worth it!

The room is so spacious but they give queen size bed instead of the promised king size bed... Location around 10 min walking to MRT but very near to 7 Eleven.... Cleanliness quite good... Staff is polite..... Buffet breakfast simple yet yummy....

Book 2 king size bed but was given 2 queen size bed, but overall the room is very spacious & clean. Bathtub is nice for kids to play.. around 10 min walk to MRT. 7 Eleven is so near... highly recommended

Comfort!”

Hotel was easy to find (few minutes walk to bus station and Taipei bridge station), room and ensuite bath is very spacious, and the facilities are in good condition. The free breakfast was decent and the staff are kind and well-accomodating. Will definitely recommend and go back here in the future. Thanks Xinshe Hotel!

Nice, Clean and Spacious”

The room i think was upgraded because I only availed the standard room for 4. We were surprised how big the room was and how it looked like. Very modern and spacious better than what was posted. Thumbs up for this hotel.

Like the room and breakfast”

We booked the room without windows but the room is so spacious. The bath room is so nice. The breakfast is like home food; we love it. Since we travelled all day and only used the room for sleeping, room without windows is totally fine with us.

Not like the pictures suprise!”

The room was OK but much smaller than what is represented in the picture. The bathroom and shower was nice. The TV was kind of a pain to use but it was big and had a good quality picture. The most annoying thing was that the bed was actually two different single person beds next to each other and during the night they moved apart from each other and I ended up rolling over and falling into the gap between the two mattresses and that was on the most fun way to be shocked awake in the middle of the night.

Good place to stay! Clean room. Fresh towels. Kinda old a bit, but very manageable. Near the train station. Convenience store is accesible, Small resto is very near the place. Free meals was delightful and delicious. Given a chance to go back in Taiwan, will go back and to this hotel.

The hotel is near the mrt station about 5-7minutes, location is also near night market.The room is very spacious and my brother's family really enjoy the room especially the tub which my nephew loves it.Limited restaurants but it's okay.The staff are helpful. Breakfast is okay. Worth it to stay here.
