The only problem I have is the music from the "disco" upstairs... sound proofing is really bad. Other than that there is not much complains, good location for its price and accessibility to food, shopping and transport.

Affordable and Great Location ”

Great location! Rooms were clean and staff were friendly. Toilet was big and spacious! Note that rooms may be on the 7th with no lift access. May need to request for rooms with lift access (8th floor) if there are any elderly travellers who has difficulty climbing up and down the stairs. Overall, a value for money hotel.

Clean and nice themed room w basic necessities ”

Love the effort done in making hotel follow the theme well! The staff are dressed in airline uniform and even the key card was printed like a boarding pass. Beds are comfy, toilet is huge. The place is a 2 mins walk from Ximen station if you take the short cut! Rooms are slightly not sound proof but it is still good! Would love to stay here again.

Nice hotel and good location ”

Although the building is old, but inside is still very new and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel is in level 8. Location is just beside AY CHUNG Rice Noodles and near to MRT, just 1-2minutes away. Will stay here again next time if I visit Taipei

Love the hotel design & location!”

The location is very ideal. 1min away from Ximen station exit 6. U can shop and eat till u drop then go up to the hotel to rest and use washroom! I will definitely recommend this hotel to my friends :) The Ktv doesn’t bothers me as I don’t sleep before 10pm. Staff is friendly too.

Could have been perfect except for the bed bugs”

I stayed here for 2 nights with my sister for a business trip. Everything went really well. We were upgraded to a better and bigger room. The location is very central - right in the heart of Ximending. It is actually located near Ah Zhong noodles. MRT exit 6 is just a few minutes walk away. Despite all the pros, unfortunately we woke up with a lot of bed bug bites all over our body mostly our legs. It took 2 weeks for them to heal. I hope that management could take time to fix this issue. Would suggest them to change the mattress and do thorough cleaning to eradicate these bugs from their mattresses. Also, there is a dance studio upstairs and the room could be noisy until 10pm but it was not an issue for us. Never the less, I would probably still consider this hotel if they resolve the bed bug problem.

Ximen Airline Hotel”

The location of the hotel is good, in the prime of Ximending shopping area. This makes shopping and eating around the area easy. The room is kept in good and excellently clean condition. The room i was given was big and spacious, it was like a family suite size for a solo traveller like me. It was definitely an experience to stay in a hotel with a airline theme and i would certainly have no qualms about staying the hotel again if the price is right.

Hotel is located behind Ah Zhong Mian Xian, within a min walk. Check in & our was easy, staffs were helpful & polite. Room is quite spacious & considered clean. Definitely one of the place to stay at when visiting XMD.

Vrhunsko”

Location is excellent, just within 5 minutes walk after exit from MRT Ximending Exit 6 although this place can get really crowded especially at night. Don't worry about the everyday meal, just step out from the hotel, it's a food heaven. The famous Ah Chong Mian Xian just few shops away. Soundproof is really bad though, by reading reviews you should get ready for the musics from the upstairs dance studio (not a matter for us since most of the time we are out of the hotel, the music stops at night after 10pm). But you could clearly hear the conversation of the next room, which we got awaken by a Korean Couple early in the morning. Bottled water is refilled every day. Good for its price!

Good location”

Great location at Ximending. Was abit taken aback when we reached the hotel room as it's not what we expected. Room is abit old. We opted for window unit but the window is only inside the bathroom which can't be drawn open as it's facing the opposite building quite closely. Staffs are friendly and easy check-in & out. Can consider to stay this hotel if you are on low budget with good location.

Best value for money”

Clean, super friendly, fast service. Highly accessible just next to ah zhong main xian. Couldn't ask for more. Service was superb. Ask for anything (etc pillow, tissue) and you have it within 30sec. Ask for directions, place of interest and you get their best answers. It is a cozy niche hotel. Not to mention their utmost afford in turning it to a flight concept with wall decor and uniform. We are definitely hooked on this location and atmosphere. "YOU SHOULD BE HERE"

Good Location”

Location is great with easy access to food even at night. It's safe even when you are going out late at night. There are push carts selling food morning & night. The only negative thing is the pillows are too soft & flat which are uncomfortable, hope the hotel can change.

excellent accommodation ”

all the way to walk to the elevator , im abit upset because seem like a old building, but when we get to the hotel lobby, i started to change my mind, more surprise when i get in to the room, room was specious, clean, and cozy. staff was very friendly. definitely will come back again for my next visit

Recommended”

Comfortable bed, very clean bedsheets and towels. Towels and bedsheets as white as snow, very impressed!! Shower area is big and comfortable. Shower head water pressure is good and strong. Reception staff very friendly and nice people. We stayed at 7 floor and is not noisy at all thou several reviews posted in agoda claimed noisy becos of the KTV at 9th or 10th floor. There is a chinese restaurant at 2nd level. They served alakat dishes as well as timsum. We tried both and been there twice as we love the food there - comparable to Singapore's standard. Ximending and 阿宗面线 are right below our hotel very convenient and we love it. Most of the shops in Ximending close at around 11 pm. Across the road is 远东百货 where you could buy the famous nougat and local products from the shop name SUGAR AND SPICE. There are also taxis right below the hotel very convenient. Keep up the good work, Ximen Airline Hotel !! Would definitely go back again the next time we're in Taiwan!

Great location, near MRT station and many eateries are within walking distance. Room is rather spacious and clean, but soundproof is kind of weak as we often heard the sound from the next room. Generally a nice hotel to stay for a shopping spree in Ximending.

Convenient location and spacious room”

The hotel is less than 100m from the MRT station, and close to many local eateries including 阿宗麵線。Lots of shops around for shopping, dining and even movies. The hotel is clean and quiet generally, except during the hours 6 - 10 pm as there is a dance room upstairs, guests may hear some faint music then. Overall the hotel is a great place to stay and staff are helpful.

Excellent location at Ximending”

We stayed 4 nights during our holiday in Taipei. Excellent location right at Ximending near to Ximen MRT within 5 mins walk. Many eateries around including the famous Ah Chung Vermicelli. Very clean and the necessary toiletries such as tooth brush, shower gel, shampoo, etc are provided. Staff are friendly and the check-in and check-out process were hassle free. The only setback is that there is a dance studio at 9th floor as the hotel is located at 8th floor, where the music was very loud during the dance classes, but the classes end at 10pm every night. It was preempted by the receptionist during check-in. It was acceptable to us since we only sleep after 10pm. Very practical hotel with good cleanliness, nearby eateries and MRT which is very good value for money. Strongly recommended for anyone travelling to Taipei.

Location and Staff is the plus point”

located in a old building but once you reached the 8th floor the design is up to standard. Staff is the plus point for this hotel. it could be cheaper judging by the room size. However, will return to stay for the comfort.

Pros: very convenient near exit 6 of ximen mrt. Near many food options & shopping. Comfortable beds & pillows. Cons: Housekeeping forgot to clean our room on 1 of 4 days that we were there. Reception staff apologised & was nice to throw out rubbish & replenish the bottled water.
