"i don't have one negative thing to say about the crown plaza sun palace beijing. it was awesome! such a great deal! the rooms were spotless and very large. the bed was more comfortable then my bed at home. i slept like a baby even with two snoring parents in the room. you have choice of many different types of pillow that are complimentary. i slept with a lavender pillow, it was lovely. they also brought aromatherapy to the room which was a nice touch. bathrobes and slippers are provided. the breakfast buffet is included in the price and it is huge. some of the best coffee i have had in china. the have many western dishes as well as chinese so you get the best of both worlds. the staff were very helpful and friendly. "

"Our stay at the Sheraton was wonderful. Truly a 5 star experience. We had a very large room, with a very large bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the hotel décor was lovely. I would definitely stay at this hotel again."

"We stayed at HePingLi for 2 nights and booked another 2 later in our trip. The hotel is adjacent to line 5 of the subway with taxis easy to get and a decent restaurant half a block away. It is also close to a couple of wonton shops and other basic stores (not fancy). Traffic was good in this area. Breakfast would have been nice but 40 RMB is manageable (we went elsewhere). It would serve as a base for getting around the city. The room had just a neighborhood view - there is an elementary school behind it or a view of the street, but no expansive city views you would get elsewhere. Lobby is small with minimal seating. No exercise room or other amenities. elevator access requires keycard. Windows in halls open, so there are mosquitos although repellant warmer in room is supplied - we had no problem. "
