"Hotel Eclat Beijing is a wonderful option for anyone living in Beijing or traveling to Beijing. It is located in a shopping mall which makes it all the best as you just walk through the lobby and then you can enjoy restaurants and great stores around you. The facilities are wonderful, especially the massage chair in your room. The staff were friendly and helpful, some staff was exceptionally helpful and friendly but we felt during our booking in that they could have offered a welcome drink as stated in the booking, which they didn't. All in all, it was still a 5-star experience! "

"The hotel is new with modern facilities and unique room layout. It has this slightly curve shape but functional, offers great view into bustling Sanlitun shopping malls such as Taikoo Li etc. Love the giant oval bathtub. U can avoid the crazy traffic jam since u stay right in the center of activities, shunning away all the traveling on the road"

"For small children it is good the sun park is 10 minutes walk from the hotel. In Ritan park, sun park there is lot of activities for small children also for the parents. Hotel is at embassy area and close to silk street market. Hotel has reasonable price. If you dont have breakfast there is starbucs kaffee just acorss the street."

"Fast check-in and check-out as booked through Agoda. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. cleaned on a daily base. Very light as there are a lot of windows, which is nice. Location is great, close to restaurants, bars, shopping etc. One thing that Agoda should be providing is a phone number in cases of serviced apartments. This because there is no official reception desk available and you have to search for the contact details beforehand online yourself. With explaining where to go exactly in taxi's a phone number is a necessity. "

"Enjoyed the great hospitality and the beauty of this hotel. However, don't like the controlled access of the properties where guard will lock up the gate and require verification of identify upon access (though a quick and polite one). Location is also not near any subway station, a good 2km walk to the nearest Dongzhimen station. On the other hand, I must compliment the good service of the staff."

"My one day stay was superb. Big comfy bed, nice clean big bathroom and 5mins walk location so near to sanlitun taikooli. Had a really good stay, will book again when I am in Beijing"

"This place was all I wanted. I stayed here for 3 weeks over christmas and not once did I tire of it.The hotel room I stayed in was called Superior which is in fact the lowest option. However, it was superior! underfloor heating in the bathroom, massive bed, flat panel tv, all fixtures and fittings to a high standard. They even thought of the minor details such as free toothbrushes, condoms! sewing kit, shoe shine cloths, dressing gowns, slippers. It was all there. The staff could not be any more helpful either, they were always at hand to help and went out of their way on numerous occasions for me. The internet access in the rooms was advertised as approx £5 for an hour and £8 for the day but when I requested the code at reception, they gave to me completely free! The bar area was very relaxing also with a central area surrounded by water where musicians play non-intrusive background music using traditional instruments. I think you can tell I liked it :-) The location wasn't too bad either, as with all cities everything is spread out, but there was plenty near by including mini market and restaurants. A taxi was always at hand which could take you to the key points of interest for normally around £1-2. Underground is about a ten minute walk providing single journeys for 20p! Hope this helps"
