Vid incheckning 15 minuters kö till hiss som kunde ta upp mig till rummet. Samma väntetid för att få ett frukostord. Orsaken var att ett mycket stort sällskap med unga människor (studenter?) bodde på hotellet och hade någon typ a konferens (function?).

Mycket bra hotel, mycket annat finns inte att säga
We celebrated our daughter’s birthday at Diamond Hotel and stayed for two nights. The location is excellent—close to Manila Bay, the zoo, museums, Intramuros, Divisoria, and Binondo. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the staff. I opted for self-parking, and the security guards at the parking area were very approachable. They assisted my wife and daughter in going to the reception area. At the reception, Zia assisted us during check-in. My daughter liked her immediately—she was well-presented, professional, and very accommodating. We truly appreciated that they allowed us to check in early and that Zia allocated a room based on our preferences. When we entered the room, it was already prepared and cooled, which was a pleasant welcome after a long drive. We also found a complimentary birthday cake—thank you for this thoughtful gesture! The room may be a bit dated, but it is well-maintained, clean, and spacious. Housekeeping also followed our written instructions for the make-up room service, which we truly appreciated. We had breakfast at Corniche, where we were greeted by the hostess. The wait staff were attentive and accommodating, though a warm smile from some would make the experience even better. We did notice that the F&B manager did not greet us as we passed by, as he seemed more focused on other guests (other nationalities). However, on our second morning, the F&B supervisor was very kind in assisting me with the bread toaster. The food selection was great—though some dishes remained the same the following day. We especially loved the shawarma wrap; it was almost as good as the ones we had in Dubai! The only thing missing was that the garlic mayo could be a bit more garlicky. The fresh juices were refreshing, and I particularly enjoyed the sausages, bacon, and croissants. The F&B staff were generally attentive, though the chef at the soup station seemed rather serious—perhaps just a little smile would make guests feel more welcome. Overall, it was a wonderful culinary experience. Our sleep experience was excellent. The room was soundproof, the air conditioning was quiet, and we had a very restful night. During check-out, Jonas assisted us and kindly allowed a late check-out at 1:00 PM. He was very accommodating and professional. Overall, we had a truly enjoyable and relaxing stay at Diamond Hotel. While there are a few areas for improvement, our overall experience was memorable. We look forward to staying here again and hope that our small notes can help enhance future guest experiences.

I recently stayed at Diamond Hotel, and overall, it was a really great experience. Here’s what stood out: The Good Stuff: Breakfast: I have to say, the breakfast menu was top-notch. There was such a good variety—local Filipino dishes, as well as plenty of international options. It definitely set the tone for a good day. Location: One of the best things about this hotel is its location. It’s conveniently nestled between SM MOA, Luneta, Robinsons Manila, and an LRT station, which makes it so easy to get around. Whether you're into shopping, sightseeing, or just need public transport, it’s all right there. Room Comfort: My room was surprisingly spacious, which was a nice change. I had a comfy sofa to chill on, a working table, and even a bathtub to unwind after a long day. The iron was an unexpected but appreciated touch—always good when you need to look sharp! Value for Money: For everything you get—great location, nice rooms, and solid service—it’s definitely worth what you pay. It’s a solid choice if you're looking for a comfortable, budget-friendly stay. Breakfast Dining Area: The halls where breakfast is served are beautiful. It’s not just about the food—it’s about the whole vibe. The atmosphere in the dining area really makes the meal feel more special. Classic Luxury: The hotel definitely has that classic luxury feel. The best part? The pricing is super competitive and actually in the same range as 3-4 star hotels, making it a great deal for the level of service and comfort you get. I only paid 1/4th of the new & modern hotels with same amenities and services. A Couple of Minor Downsides: Elevator Issues: One thing to note was that more than one of the elevators were under maintenance during my stay. It wasn’t a huge deal, but it did cause some small inconvenience, especially during peak times. Noise from the Hallway: I did notice that the noise from the hallway could be heard in my room at night. It wasn’t a dealbreaker, but it might be something they could look into to improve the overall soundproofing. Overall, my stay at Diamond Hotel was really pleasant, and I’d definitely recommend it if you’re visiting Manila. It’s a great spot with a lot to offer, and I’d be happy to stay there again next time I’m in town!

We made a last-minute booking, but our stay turned out well—just like our previous visits. Diamond Hotel has always been reliable when it comes to comfort and service. One thing we hope they could improve on is offering a later check-out aside from a 1PM check out, especially for guests who check in late. It would make the experience even more convenient and relaxing. The breakfast buffet remains delicious as always—definitely one of the highlights of staying here. I stayed in this hotel for 5 nights. It is conveniently located near a mall and close to the airport. There is a convenience store just a stone's throw away too. Breakfast is good. The dining area can get crowded and you may have to get on a queue, but the wait was not bad, just a few minutes. The staff is friendly and they I am glad to see that they will let people, who don't comply with proper dress etiquette in the dining area. This is mentioned at check-in and a written reminder is also given to guests as well. The bed is most comfortable and I had a wonderful and restful sleep. I have stayed here once before in 2013 and I will definitely stay here again. Highly recommended.

We were visiting Manila for short hours and had to cover both Ocean Park (which is very close to this hotel) and S M Mall of Asia. Both places were quite convenient to reach from this hotel. Check in was super smooth, so was check out. We also safely stored our luggages for a couple of days while visiting Boracay. We did not get breakfast at the hotel but there were plenty of options close by. Getting Grab and accessing amenities was very easy from this hotel. Plus the rooms have an antique look, but super clean- so we were super happy with our stay. Definitely not thinking about any other place for staying when visiting Manila.

We atayed at diamond hotel for my senior parents' US visa interview together with my toddler. It is our 1st time to stay at the hotel, so we didn't know that there would be 2 flights of stairs going up from the basement parking to the hotel lobby so we had a hard time carrying all our belongings plus a toddler and noone assisted us. If i knew that there would be no elevators from the parking to the lobby then I would've dropped off my parents and son in front of the hotel. We came an hour early of our check in time because we came from Cavite and I didn't expect that traffic would be uncongested. So a male receptionist entertained us and told us to wait for an hour while they request a rush cleaning for our room and will call me if it is ready. I said okay and we stayed at the lobby lounge carrying all our stuff because noone assisted us. So after an hour, no one called me so I asked a female receptionist to check our room because it has been an hour and my toddler is crying already from boredom/tiredness. I talked to the female receptionist at a time when she's not entertaining another guest just to ask for a follow up..but then she just said to wait and made a very "masungit" face. I did not see the male receptionist whom we talked to first so I waited to talk to another male staff atxthe front desk and after that he gave me the keys for our room. I know, we are not looking ultra rich (cause we are not) but we patiently waited for our room for an hour and went to talk to them because it is already more than an hour and our check in time is at 2pm. I think that's not how a 5-star hotel should operate right? Since we are not looking like an inportant rich person or a foreigner, no hotel staff helped us with our belongings. We even walked in front of many hotel staff while carrying all our staff with 2 seniors and a toddler but nobody budged to offer assitance. Are they only attentive to guests who are rich looking? We wore decent clothes but isn't it enough to get us assisted by your staff? We had a great stay because of the comy bed/room and the other hotel staff that we encountered the next day where polite and courteous. Thank God a staff helped us bring our bags down the basement parking when we checked out. I do hope that your receptionists and staff won't have favorites in assisting guests.

The strength of this 5 star hotel is its staff they are genuinely helpful and each intervention they made was always to my benefit. On my first day I dozed in my bedroom and put the ‘do not disturb’ sign on. At about 16:30 I received a telephone call asking if I’d like my room cleaned before the cleaning staff finished - a nice touch. The hotel’s weak point is that there are very few communal areas just to sit and relax. There is lots of seating but within restaurants and cafe, I only counted three indoor seats/sofas not associated with purchasing food and beverages. There is seating by the pool but it was very humid and only a few of the tables were shady. As someone who likes just to sit and watch this was a failing in what was otherwise a well appointed 5 star hotel. The hotel was very busy during my six night stay and it is popular with families with young children.
We have stayed at many hotels in Metro Manila, but this was our first time staying at the Diamond hotel. We enjoyed the comfortable bed, spacious room, and the courteous and professional staff were cordial throughout our stay.. The breakfast buffet offered a variety of options for our palates. The water pressure in the shower was excellent, and the hot water is always appreciated! We look forward to staying again on our next visit to Manila.

We stayed at Diamond Hotel as we will be attending a wedding nearby. We stayed at this hotel before with my husband when we are still young. And now we let our kids experience what 5 star hotel here in the Philippines. They love the hotel and my eldest had a good experience at the Club Lounge. We had our breakfast at the Restaurant and my family loved the selection of food. The only thing in the room is the Local channels isn’t working, called for assistance - someone came to check and mentioned that it might be from the server so he will be back but he did not came back or any update were given. The plug at the washroom is not working properly (did not report it) so this needs to be checked for the next user of the room. Overall, it was a good stay. Will highly recommend this Hotel.

10mins walk to US Embassy, reason for my stay. Excellent staff, very good security, with basement parking. Easy check in/out. Executive Suite is very spacious- with extra bathroom for guests or addtl person. Wonderful view of Dolomite Beach, Bay Area and also has beautiful sunset view. Breakfast was technically very good but the staff were overwhelmed by the number of guests, there’s this big group while we were there. Highly recommended when visiting Manila and you want to be near Manila Bay.

This is our second time staying here. The second one was not planned, we just booked as we do not want to go home and relaxed. We booked the room at 11am, and so happy that we still got a room available. However we forgot to bring cash for security deposit, and the receptionist guided us on what to do. We had a great stay as the hotel is very clean, the staff are very accommodating. The food is great! My daughter really loves it here

This is one of the best hotel stay that I had. Comfortable bed with nice view of the bay area. My kids loved the breakfast buffet with many delicious food options to choose from. The staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel amenities were great that my kid and niece loved to swim at the pool. Happy to see a dryer at the changing room that it saved me from wet and heavy clothes to bring home :-D Checkin and checkout were fast.

If you like to feel and be served like a member of royal family you should book this hotel. Staff is greatest value of this hotel, they make you feel special. Rooms are huge, renovated and perfectly clean. Don't miss to try their signature ube ensaymada in Lobby Lounge. One important notice to all travelers: do NOT walk alone along the coast. I was attacked by group of thiefs in the middle of day. Use only taxi when going somewhere.

The hotel although old is well mentained and clean. The rooms have good view of Manila Bay with comfy bed and clean sheets and towels. The vibe is so relaxing thus I was able to work and had a good night rest. The bfast buffet was great as well with wide range of choices. I enjoyed my stay , it is the older style of 5 star hotel , but it suited me. The bathroom although spacious and spotlessly clean , needs a separate shower and bathtub. The entertainment system needs a minor upgrade, the monitor was big but the channel choice requires an upgrade and also there should be facilities for Apps like Apple TV and Netflix. The Staff are always very attentive and thinking about the needs of the customers. In my opinion the best value 5 Star Hotel in Manila

We stayed at Diamond Hotel while waiting for my daughter who attended an event at one of their function rooms. The hotel is old but at least very well maintained. Its neat and clean esp the rooms. Our room is not overly fancy but minimalist and classy. It has all the basic stuff for a short stay. Bed and linens were comfy enough for me who has back pains. Breakfast was great with wide range of cuisine. Staff were friendly and warm. Our overnight stay was fantastic.

Great short stay in Manila but some issues with cleanliness upon check in and inconsistencies with the way they implement things in the hotel but otherwise a good stay. Staff were very helpful and courteous. Breakfast was as expected for buffet breakfast, has varieties of food choices for breakfast. Location wise, near a shopping center and a lot of food places around the area

Room was clean and huge. Staff were helpful, professional and accommodating. Booked a room for 2 in the 8th floor, the following morning around 8:30 there was an annoying drilling sound coming from the 15th floor. Called the front desk to address the issue. They apologized and offered for a room transfer but i declined since I will be checking out that day anyway. They instead offered a free breakfast buffet for 2 and a late check out to compensate. Thank you for your kindness. Will definitely recommend you to my other friends. =)

The hotel is beautiful This is my fifth hotel in different countries in Asia the only comfortable bed was here. The pool is great. The buffet is incredible and the rooms are spacious with large tv and a view of the ocean. The only downside is that you can hear the road traffic because it’s right on Beach Road
From the booking stage to early check in, special requests and up to check out, all staff are very accommodating and helpful. Buffet breakfast is also food. Rooms are well maintained and clean. Will definitely recommend to friends needing accommodation. Kudos to the management and staff.

We have stayed at several nearby properties and been underwhelmed. The Diamond was only slightly more expensive than other options, really had a quality feel. From the time we got the door, very attentive staff. Room not brand new, very clean, well appointed and comfortable. Bed was outstanding, as we pillows (difficult to please customers here on these points!). Breakfast buffet (included in our rate) was very nice! Diverse options, well prepared and overall good choices whether looking for Asian or Western items. Will stay again when we are in Manila. Recommended!

recently had the pleasure of staying at Diamond Hotel Manila Bay and I must say that my experience was absolutely exceptional! From the moment I walked in, the staff were welcoming and friendly, and made me feel right at home. The hotel's location is perfect for those who want to enjoy the beauty of Manila Bay, and the views from my room were absolutely breathtaking. The room itself was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities that I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I had no trouble getting a good night's sleep. We had a great time overall. Few issues in the beginning but was solved after couple of follow up like the keys that doesnt work on the elevator to access the club lounge. Very little info on what are the other privilage of the club guests. First breakfast was bad experience in Corniche. One lady receptionist or host asked us to wait for a table because they said that there were just cleaning it,then after 20 mins. She escorted us to a dirty tables and dirty couched and pointed that is our table and left. Need to call her back to show her the mess and asked why she just dumped us there. The worst part, i have my 7 years old son and lets us pay half price for a piece of pancake that he ate. Very bad experience. On the other side, Cecile, the Manager and the staff of club lounge was very accomodating and very helpful. Because of them we extended another night and booked with her. Club lounge staff are superb and Manager Cecile is a gem. Kudos to Roch, Aaron and Reynolds too , they are very accomodating. Corniche staff should learn from them.

Room is OK, clean and tidy with comfortable bed. The swimming pool is not good for swimming as the pool is not deep enough. Breakfast is not good as expected with limited choice of food. The staffs are very good and polite and helpful.
