Taiwanese hospitality at its best!”
The first question our host asked when we arrived at this lovely B&B at around 8pm sums up the great experience we had while staying here. He didn't ask us for our ID or booking reference but jnstead asked (via an interpreter he rang) whether we had eaten. Upon hearing we hadn't he immediately took us to a nearby street restaurant (there are not that many restaurants closeby, which is the only downside we can think of). Our room was spacious and clean and the breakfast was a nice mix of Asian and Western food. Our hosts were keen to make us feel at home and took us to a mountain river to swim after we came back from a long day of hking in Taroko Gorge (a 10 minute drive from the B&B). If you're by car and need a place to stay, we definitely recommend this place!!

Short stay”
This place is very unique. It's a beautiful hotel very close to the beach. You can't swim at the beach because there is a very steep drop off and we came right after a typhoon, but it's nice to walk on. The breakfast was very delicious and easy on a western pallet. The owners are very nice and helpful. They don't speak any English but they saw we wanted to go swimming and warned us it was too dangerous on the beach so they brought us to the river where the locals swam. It was very clean so the only downsides were the wifi wasn't working in our room, there is no shower curtain (which is quite normal here), and you have to drive to get food (7-11 is within walking distance).

Excellent stay. Owners are very friendly, provide very good service. Prepare nice breakfast for each person. Even though location is a bit far and a bit difficult to look for but it is a perfect hotel. New hotel with big room and nice design with balcony. Very comfortable bed, very nice bathroom. I would like to stay longer if my trip was available..

most of the great thing come from the owner's warm welcome, they are friendly, helpful and kind. The place is so unique with owner's style, so mamy antique fine arts, look like an exhibition. Healthy breakfast, romantic room with huge private balcony. We did BBQ party with the help from the manager, we really have great time during the 1st day of Chinese New Year!
