Not the best service, but for this price everything else was great. Location is central. The bathrooms have a weird doll which you might want to ask housekeeping to take away.

It's a perfect place to stay if you have a things to do at the Embassy, the area got lots of Embassies right across the road. Hotel got good restaurants (my personal favourite is cantonese restaurant on 21st floor). The only issue was is to get a taxi, as all the taxis has to be called in advance and we were so close to be late for our flight (40 min waiting for taxi at the lobby). But this is the issue of Beijing and not just hotel in particular :)

The hotel is value for money. Good location. Close to subway station. Walking distance to Lufthansa shopping center / Kepinski hotel and Four Seasons hotel where i had some meetings. Also close to Sanlitun area. Less than 1h to/from the airport.

A reasonable hotel in Beijing”
The hotel is close to transport and has modest facility. The rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. The communication in English can be challenging and need to speak slow and ensure that they understand. Food in the restaurants is not good. and hence better to look for eateries outside. There is a 24x7 convenience store with adequate supply of amenities and some food including fruits. and a Starbucks in a nearby building.

The hotel had a beautiful bar area but wondered why no-one chose to use it, until i ordered a drink. Ridiculously overpriced drinks drove everyone away. The worst deal was for soft drinks. A pathetic business model that will cost you return business. The take away shop fared no better and the bar fridge prices were the same. No surprise that they ask you for a $A500 deposit for bar fridge. sorry no return service likely

No air-con, even the temperature outside is hot...... they say open the window hahahah, every where there is a willow and its really itchy and they want us to open the window!! we stayed for 5 nights and they did not do anything about this. We asked for an electric fan.. OMG staying in a hotel using an electric fan.I used to stay with Landmark hotel every year and this year since no available rooms we stay nearby hotel... And this is what happened to us. I really regret staying on this hotel. Staff are not friendly.

Wonderfully located near Sanlitun and the Ambassy area, probably one of the best places in Beijing to organize visits (forbidden city, great wall, Heavenly temple,...) in a very central part of Beijing and still very relaxing, especially during the week-end. Also very good for business people.

If you have business to attend to at the British Council building nearby then this hotel is perfect. Free wifi in the lobby, you have to pay for internet in your room, but I could still access the free wifi from the 8th floor! Nice cafe, providing coffee and bread deals, after 8pm you can get 2 for one pastries. Dinner buffet over priced at about 200 rnb, better to jump in a cab and go to Sunlintun for a feed. Good service and value!

Great value option in good location”
Great Wall Sheraton is a relatively old hotel as far as Beijing goes, but still clean and kept up for a very comfortable stay. Hotel is great value for money with big fitness center, pool, and huge breakfast spread. No free internet in the rooms is frustrating, but there is fast, free wireless in the lobby. Quick access to subway (Agricultural Expo Center) and Airport Express.

The hotel is value for your money. But please also consider the surrounding area. There is nothing nearby. The closest 7/11 is about 10 minute walk. The rooms are clean but some areas of the rooms are getting old. The halls have been redone and are nice and bright. You can forget about the swimming pool as the water is not heated.
