"Bed very comfortable, pillows were supportive and afforded a good night's rest. Room was satisfactory, not a typical 4 star room in my opinion but not a poorly presented room either. It met our basic needs and felt ok. I was told it was one of the newer rooms but I think it could still do with updating. We were on the ground floor in the 120's row. Walk in shower room was ok. Toilet and basin area clean, shower had some black mould so I would always walk in with my flip flops on. I expected a wider choice of foods. No authentic foods such as breadfruit, yams, curries at dinner. I did find roti and jerk style chicken and fish on the bbq. Good selection of cocktails. Breakfast at $65 EC per day not worth it in my opinion unless you want pancakes, eggs, baked beans, toast etc.. I struggled to find local food at the hotel but did get green bannana and grilled chicken one morning. Location superb right on the wonderfull beach which makes the hotel, as does the gardens. Staff brilliant!"

"Room was dated, from the drapes to the bed skirts, down to the towels being worn. Toiletries weren’t relished daily. No facial tissues but it was produced on request. Don’t expect slippers and bathrobe, which when spending almost usd 300 a night you would expect the small touches. Service was slow, my first breakfast took over 90 mins to reach the table. Fortunately the staff were friendly and the beach was nice so it made staying pleasant but won’t be going back. "
