Pavillion Shenzhen for 10 days biz trip”
My stay at the Pavillion Shenzhen (not to be confused with the Pavilion Century Hotel (sister tower) was for 10 days. The staff was very friendly and spoke english well enough. They went out of their way to make me comfortable and even walked me to a local restaurant around the corner and helped me order. The room was kept clean and serviced daily. There is a decent TV and the temperature was always comfortable and easily controlled from a console near the bed. The work out fitness center was open around 06:00 and they greet you with a towel everyday. 2 out of 3 treadmills were in operation and I never had to wait. The restaurant has a limited a la carte menu and I found myself going local to find dinner. Found a second phone with sim card down the street. Near the hotel there are literally hundreds of shops selling mobile phones. There is also a Park N Shop market nearby that has everything from Ice Cream to Dried Starfish. I would certainly go back again and this was my third time staying there. there used to be a Korean restaurant but it has been closed for a while, too bad, because it was excellent. I was in Room 907 and don't forget - this review is not applicable to the Pavilion Century Tower

Excellent Stay”
Overall the stay was excellent.The rooms are very comfortable and clean with all the amenities. It is less than a block from the location of my work, there are lots of restaurants and shopping in the area. There is street construction in the area as they are building a new subway line but it in no way interfered with my stay. Upon my arrival I was sent to a room that had not been cleaned since the last guest. I call the front desk and they were quick to take me to another room and upgrade my room for the inconvenience. Well Done!!!!! I recommend this hotel to everyone traveling to Shenzhen. an added bonus is that it is only 30 minutes from the airport.

Great location with nice staff”
The hotel is right by the Metro exit. Simply following the signage for the Pavilion Hotel inside the Metro station, we found the appropriate exit. Before we got nervous about finding the hotel, we saw it right after stepping out of the Metro exit. The hotel is nicely appointed with all the facilities and services you would expect from a classy hotel. The decor is traditional and pleasant. The staff were friendly and courteous. We found it a nice and comfortable hotel for recommendation in the higher price range.

Good facilities and great staff”
Great hotel. For the money, the value is good but not great; there are cheaper hotels in Shenzhen but they aren't as nice. I stayed for 3 nights and one of those nights I didn't get fruit. I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be a welcoming thing or if it was for every day. The bathtub in my room was pretty shallow. The staff was extremely helpful. Especially the concierge! He was very patient with me even though I had a million questions for him.

A Great Stay”
Our three days at the Pavillion were one of the best stays of our married life. The food was excellent, the room quiet, comfortable and very clean. The recreational facilities were great and the staff went beyond the call of duty to attend to our needs. We would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a memorable stay in Shenzhen. A first class facility.

Hotel tries hard to please”
Adding up is perhaps not this staff's strongest point. It's wise to check each bill carefully as each time I've stayed, there has been a mistake with the bill. But it's a really good hotel otherwise and in a great location if shopping is your (or your partner's) thing. The rooms are large and very comfortable. Internet access is free and good. Why is it that the most expensive hotels charge for Internet and the cheaper ones don't. Come on, hotel groups. Providing free access to Internet or Wi-fi is now as important as soap and hot water. If cheap hotels can provide it, why not you?

This hotel is well located, looks suitably luxurious in its public areas and has a positive, upbeat ambience. The room I was given was well sized and appointed, with a pleasant view. Staff were helpful and friendly. The size of the room was excellent value for money. I would most probably return here next time I come to Shenzhen.

Exceptional”
New fresh fruit in the room every single day. Functional gym open till midnight. Front desk answering the moment you pick up the phone. I stayed here for almost two weeks, the rate was extremely competitive and the experience rivaled that of luxury places in Europe. There’s wear and tear and room for improvement, but this is really an amazing hotel, easily standing out from a hundred properties I’ve stayed at.

The room is big enough even for small family. The "daily fruit service" makes myself like at home when I came back to the room, sat on the cozy couch, turn on TV then had some tasty fruit everyday. The location is impeccable! The subway station is right in front of the hotel, 3-4 shopping malls and cinema near by that you don't have to worry how to spend your free time.

Pavilion Hotel - Not too bad”
A pretty grand hotel, nice sttings and large rooms. The staffs are really helpful and you can rely on hem to get things done. Quite difficult to get taxis in front of the hotel as the front part of the hotel is closed. Overall, a good hotel to stay in.

Good value and great location”
Location is perfect net to the shopping malls and MTR. Property is a bit dated from the 1980's and the hotel room has a weird bathroom layout with the toilet placed between the vanity and shower making accessibility a bit strange. Rooms were larger than normal which is nice and the property has a great Gym/Swimming pool. DO NOT buy a coffee from the lobby lounge - tasted like mud and got charged AUS$20 for it! Head to Honest Coffee lounge 2 blocks away for a decent coffee. Will definitely stay here again for the location and value for money. Staff were great and attentive.

Good hotel, great food, good location, service top”
Great service, hotel is notbrand new but kept up and for China quite elegant. Manyu ammenities including an indoor pool, ping pong, a few restruants and the location is great for walking around and shopping for electronics at Hauqing Bay area. Overall I plan to stay here again. Only downside is the price and no wifi in the room. However I was upgraded to the Delux room from the superior by agoda based on the room I booked.

Not quite like the picture”
Overall, the stay was good, however there were some things to comment upon. Pros: very clean, great staff Cons: got a "superior" room, but it did not resemble the picture on the website at all. Our room looked more like the basic room. Two jacuzzis are pictured on the website as well. I assumed these would be located by the pool so we could access them, but this wasn't the case. They are located somewhere else in the hotel, possibly in one of the spas, where they're not freely available. Dim sum restaurant was a long wait, and several people who arrived after us, got seated before us, for some reason.

Just on top of a major subway station. There is also food street in the basement but not many eaters. Adjacent to the hotel, there is a nice restaurant offering Dim Sum, a bit pricy though. South to the hotel is a major walking street selling all kinds of electronics.

Great location, Great hotel, Great service”
The hotel was great. The staff spoke English fairly well. Nice big king bed. Fluffy pillows. Did have to get new room card twice because it wouldnt read. Bathroom drain did smell after a few days. Break fast is horribly expensive, as is the laundry. If your adventurous try going around the back entrance. there are some nice bakeries and shops you can get really good and cheap meals. Sushi restaurant is great. It has an all you can eat buffet of sashimi. but the menu is all in chinese so those who are not well versed in chinese will have some difficulty.
