Beautiful hotel, great service but overpriced food”
Our stay at the St. Regis was excellent. We visit Beijing monthly and have stayed in many hotels. The St. Regis has the best staff, by far. The facilities and the room were lovely and the WIFI was fast (and free). My only complaint is that the dining in the hotel is BY FAR too expensive. The restaurants are good but not distinguished and the price point is exploitative. Other than that, my favorite hotel in Beijing so far.

Perfect weekend away!”
We have stayed at a number of hotels in Beijing, and this was one of our favorites. Not amazing on the outside, but stunning inside. Very friendly, professional staff. Our room was comfortable with a great bed! We took an afternoon swim in the pool, and would have used the best equipped hotel gym we have ever seen if we had our stuff with us. We had room service for dinner, and the food was tasty and prompt. The breakfast buffet was fully equipped with everything we could have wanted. The St. Regis is fantastic!

Nice Stay, beautiful suite”
Nice stay at the St. Regis, Beijing. The suite was beautiful and the butler service was very helpful, we only used in the morning for coffee and tea service. I did not like the fact that no bellman was at or near the door when we arrived. I consider five star to help you out of the car and into the hotel. The one hour wine reception was a very nice bonus of the hotel. We ordered room service which was very tasty bit a little slow. The fitness center top of the line and also has a nice pool area. There was some sort of construction going on outside our suite, which woke us up much earlier than preferred on our anniversary celebration. That was also disappointing. I would return to this hotel, but they could improve in a few areas.

i am surprised to realize that most of local taxi drivers do not know of this hotel, but i must say, this is by far one of my favorite in beijing. room service is fast and very efficient, and most importantly the room is very clean. food is fresh and great.

Overall its a great hotel. Facilities are 5 stars in international standard. It is comfortable to stay. Cons and things to improve in sense of service: No porter available outside, only a tiny girl handling for taxi line. Porters were inside to meet you after you had struggled luggage from taxi and carried them inside hotel. Floor was not very quiet. It seemed more domestic tourists. On my first night, someone knocked my next door loudly at 1 am in the morning. They asked me to choose newspaper for morning delivery to room, but I never received any. Hotel staff need to be further trained. They sometimes stared at you without greeting or saying anything when passing by.

The room was well worth the price. Staff were mostly attentive, except for minor oversight during check-in. Food though was great disappointment. Overall surroundings & decor makes this a good biz hotel but not much for relaxing given the wide choices avail in Beijing.

St Regis is located near line 1, Jianguomen station. It is near the Ritan Park, which is so beautiful and amazing for morning walks. It is a great place to witness local social activiest. There are a lot of nice cafes and restaurants within walking distance.
