Good to stay for a couple of nights. ”

Stayed during low season. New-ish hotel. Good sized rooms with TV and AC. Free water and coffee. Small rooftop swimming pool with nice view over Pakse. Currently building site right in front of hotel - so view not so great. Location otherwise quiet and convenient even though a few 100m to walk to "city center". Room: on first sight, mostly clean. Had some dark and long hair in the corner of shower. Couldn't be mine. And some few tiny ants. But all in all still totally ok for the price. Comfy beds. Power socket right next to bed. Breakfast: usual Asian breakfast. Totally in order. Good place to stay for a couple of nights.

Excellent”

This is a great hotel whatever you are looking for. The staff were excellent and friendly. The room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good (despite what past posters have said) and the rooftop pool was great - they have also now added extra loungers. It is by the river front which is being developed but within easy walking distance of restaurants and bars. The onky slightly negative comment I would make is the lack of power points in the room. There was obe for the fridge which also has to be used for the kettle and one on each side of the bed. I always take an extension lead with extra sockets which was useful.

Comfortable stay in Pakse”

We stayed here before and after our tour around the Bolaven Plateau and loved this place. Views on the river are beautiful, the staff is so friendly and helpful and they kept our belongings safe while we were away for two nights. The swimming pool on the roof is gorgeous and breakfast is quite nice. About 10 min walk to the centre with many restaurants and shops, but food options also close by. We also booked our onward travel with them and everything worked perfectly.

Staff member Bow was the best. So helpful and happy! They were all good.. Hotel very new and clean - pool on the roof good view of Mekong. Lots of building going on around the area so a bit of dust and noise. Once finished will be an awesome place to stay!!

New modern hotel facing the Megong”

This is a new hotel & modern by Laos standards. Laos is being westernized which is a shame. There is construction going on but it didn’t bother us. There is a roof top pool which is a bonus. Some reviews have said that it is not central but it’s not anymore than 5 mins or less to the next bar & easy to walk into town. We liked it here. The staff were lovely

Great deal on new hotel”

This hotel is new, so everything is clean and in good condition. It's on the riverfront, so has great views, and is within walking distance to lots of restaurants, including what is reputed to be the best noodle place in Pakse just downstream. They're offering very good prices as they're not established yet, so take advantage! My only quibble is the design, as with many places they used the very polished smooth tiles in the bathroom and bedroom, and these are a bit dangerous when wet or when you're wearing socks. But overall very happy with the hotel.

Wonderful Staff”

We only stayed here one night and didn’t spend much time at the hotel but the room and hotel was modern and clean and we appreciated the amenities after spending the last few nights in more remote areas. Yes there is construction going on outside but it didn’t effect our sleeping or anything like that. I’m sure it will be lovely when all the construction is complete. The hotel has a nice view of the Mekong (on the other side of the construction) and was walking distance to many restaurants. The staff was the best part. They were extremely helpful in helping us set up a tour and give us information. They did something really nice, which I won’t mention so they don’t get taken advantage of, but it was really appreciated because I didn’t have too and we didn’t ask.

Great stay”

We stayed for 2 days after arriving at pakse on a whim. Hotel was great value for money! Rooms are clean, comfy beds and a great shower. Staff really friendly, polite and welcoming. It’s a 15 minute walk to any decent restaurant for dinner, but breakfast was included in our stay. It wasn’t the best. But can’t complain Rooftop pool is great for cooling off after long day trips (although for a large hotel they only had 2 loungers, which made no sense) and you can even catch the sunset over the Mekong.

Great Potential”

I often stay in Pakse Hotels, I’ve stayed in most of them and none have what I really want so I was keen to stay in this new In Touch hotel. First the good, my room was the best room I have found in Pakse, large comfortable bed in an adequately large room and great view. The bathroom also the best, smallish but very pleasant walk in shower. Keen and enthusiastic staff. Complementary coffee and tea on the ground floor 24/7 and a swimming pool on the roof with spectacular views. Now the down side, the TV did not have any English language news programs, breakfast choice had cold sad looking fried eggs. There was no bread, cereals or milk all easily available locally. Finally, the entrance lobby is bland, nothing to make you think you are in Lao. This needs some enhancement, maybe even a small bar at the far end. When I next stay in Pakse this will be my first choice and when the riverbank works are completed this will the most spectacular and convenient location too.

Decent hotel...but, I’m sure there are better ”

The location was a bit of town. The breakfast buffet was decent, though, food did not seem that fresh. Front desk was friendly. The pool was very nice and view excellent from the roof.

This hotel is priced well. The room was fairly comfortable. However, I had to change from my first room since there was a hole in my side of the plaster behind the TV and I could hear everything on the other side as if I was there. In that room and the new one I had to clean the toilet - top of seat was ok but cleanliness ended there. Actually the entire bathroom could have used a good cleaning in my opinion. The staff were great, the breakfast was adequate. It's a bit of a walk from the center but only about 10-15 minutes. The best part was the rooftop pool.

Nice rooms with a view”

Rather small hotel but nice and clean rooms. There is no bar at the hotel and not possible to buy a beer or a softdrink anywhere! Only a few of the staff speak any english at all. There is a roof top swimming pool with a stunning view over the Mekong river. The river bank outside the hotel is currently being reconstructed but will hopefully be in good shape within a year or so.

Good riverside location although BIG construction work being undertaken on the riverbank and surrounding area. Ten minute easy walk into town. Rooms & bed good size and staff v.friendly & helpful. Overall highly recommended

Great Shower”

I liked this hotel. It is brand new. Everything works well. I have read other reviews saying the breakfast was no good. Rubbish! The hotel is also clean as a whistle. There is garage parking underneath. The staff are extremely helpful though in general their English wa not good. However the manager could speak English very well. I booked online and paid for three nights in a row and wanted to change it so I could have the third night down in the 4000 Islands and then stay the fourth night back in the Intouch hotel. This was no problem to the manager. He changed my booking to split the nights free of charge. I would recommend this hotel to a friend.

Hotel with more potential”

Great view over Mekong but rather far away from the center. Breakfast was everyday the same and not so many choices. Pool was nice but there were only two deck chair and a few normal chairs. not enough for the number of rooms they sell. would be cool to have a roof top bar! english skills of the staff is improvable.

Handy location, new accom”

This was very good value for money, breakfast was fantastic and staff were always available and courteous. We were wanting / needing information for the rooms but as yet there are no compendiums provided. There was also no external lock on the balcony door for the river-view room.

Amazing hotel, great staff”

Pros: The hotel is brand new, the staff is very nice, rooms are spacious and clean. The shower is the best we had in Laos. The rooftop swimming pool is brilliant, best view for the sunset. So nice we decided to stay 2 extra nights
