Good for a short stay”

We had a nice stay for 1 night only. The room was OK with air conditioning, a fan, a hot shower and a comfy bed. However it was not very clean, especially the less visible areas. Also the (shared) balcony wasn't clean. The hotel has a nice restaurant that serves great breakfast and other foods for a good price.

Good choice in Pakse”

Hotel on the main street, shop just 15 metres across the steet. Exchange service, laundry service, kindly staff, many motorbike rental just few metres on the both side from hotel, cheap and tasty breakfast. Lucky choice.

Good for a night or two before moving on”

The front rooms are a bit noisy with the street traffic whizzing by into the late hours of the night. If you're a light sleeper, ask for a room at the back of the hotel. The staff were helpful. I arrived on a public holiday and most of the money changers were closed. One of the reception girls raced off on her motorbike and changed some money for me.

Beware Budget Accommodation”

Got a great deal on 2 nights. Check-in easy. Room old dated and many smelling. We had standard fan room. Was good fan. Next day we were asked to move to another fan room on top floor. No glass panes in louvers. Room had to be made up. Leaking sink in room was repaired with bike inner tube!Insufficient explanation regarding why we had to move. Lack of English on staff behalf did not help. We suspect it was because we had a great deal. No wifi in top floor. Last night a storm hit and rain came straight in through window. Soaked bed. No apologies offered by staff.

Inexpensive but basic”

A standard room with air conditioning goes for approx. 12 USD per night. The Lankham is centrally located to the restaurants and travel agents in Pakse. It's a no frills choice of accommodation which is okay for 1 - 2 nights before moving on. In the high season they have an open kitchen which provides good, inexpensive breakfasts. Note: this service isn't available in the low season.

Good place to stay, nothing special ”

Good place to stay if you just need somewhere to sleep. It was clean, in a good location, and staff were helpful. The bed wasn't the best, but good enough.

Good place for a few days stop”

A short stop between Vang Vieng and 4000 islands. The hotel is central located and our room was nice. There is TV in the deluxe room(don't know how it looks like in the standard double room, single room or the dorm) and you could watch HBO and another few English spoken channels. WIFI is only available at the lobby but in my room I could use the wifi from Pizza Boy which is a restaurant downstairs. You could rent a motorbike to go to Wat Phou which is about 45 km away. It's worth visiting.

It’s OK”

Lots of ants everywhere, bathroom, bed... Bit dirty in general. Price quality it’s ok.

Dirty bed sheet,blanket and glass”

Dirty bed sheet, blanket and glass. We checked in on 9/5/19 , Receptionist couldn’t find booking. We went out and came back to the room at night. Next morning we found out that there are a lipstick marks on bedsheet and drinking glass and a blood mark on blanket. Before we left to Khon Pha Pheng, we told the receptionist to clean and change for us. Bedsheet and blanket were changed but drinking glass wasn’t. Location is good but in the same area, there are other hotels and guesthouses

Everything you need...”

This is such a place you get everything you need for a reasonable price. A supermarket is on the opposite site of the street, all other sights not really far. Staff is friendly, rooms are ok, der and towels fresh.

Nice, clean hotel in a great location”

I was skeptical of staying here after reading reviews but we had absolutely zero issues. The staff was very friendly and even though they don’t speak a lot of English they spoke enough for our purposes. The room was clean and spacious, air con worked perfectly, windows and doors sealed properly so no mosquito issues. They also booked a night bus for us to Vientiane which went smoothly and was nicer than other night buses taken previously in se Asia. Last comment was that I found them to be very trustworthy. I stayed two nights and forgot that I had paid for one night on agoda so I accidentally paid them twice and they immediately returned my money when I explained the situation. Thank you!

Great location ”

The hotel is in a brilliant location on the main Street. I recommend a trip to Vida cafe down the road for breakfast (or any meal). The staff didn't speak perfect English but they were brilliant when they found out we had to fly back to the UK unexpectedly after receiving some bad news and even refunded the nights we had booked ahead. Room was clean, bug free and large bathroom. Would stay again!

Nothing special here”

Conveniantly located close to the city “centre”, the hotel is nothing special. The room is quite small but has everything a backpacker like us needs. The staff is not very friendly, they try to communicate in a kind way but you can just tell they hate doing this thing. Hot water was non-existant in our room, but we move to an other one and it was working OK. As I said, it’s nothing special. You get what you paid for, nohing less, nothing more.

Well situated and well run”

Excellent breakfast. Helpful staff went out of their way when I locked my key inside and the cleaner had the spare! Signed for DHL parcel for me. Frustrating wifi: you can connect on all floors, but the routers often aren't connected to the Internet. If you need the Internet, use the spacious lobby with cold drinks to hand.

God location and room for the price ”

Great locale and decent breakfast and coffee - you pay for it. Wi-Fi sucks, but it does that throughout SEAsia. Staff is helpful with somewhat limited English. French seems to be an easier language throughout the area.

Cigarette smoke and backpacker filled lobby ”

It is in the hotels and tourist populated area of Pakse but about 2 km from the main local market and business shops. Mostky young French backpackers stay here in cramped fan rooms, lobby always very busy as wifi works "only" at the lobby but not in rooms. Unfortunately, including staff and young guests smoke in the lobby area, even if they smoke outside huge door is always open to let the smoke in. Wifi is slow most times as 10 or more guest try to connect at the same time in lobby area. My AC was very old, not blowing cold air even set at 16 C, and it makes weird sounds but I slept well by the help of a strong ceiling fan. Young front desk stuff are friendly but as I said some staff smokes in the lobby area.

Not great”

This place is one of the cheaper options on this side of town - but with no included breakfast, the price is not great compared to othe parts of Laos. The room was small but the bed was big and comfortable. The bathroom was gross, not well-cleaned. WiFi was poor. We chose not to stay a 2nd night. The only bonus is it's right next to Miss Npy for motorcycle info and rentals.

Better than reviews say”

My friend and I were about nervous when we booked this hotel as it had some bad reviews. We enjoyed our stay. The room was great, the beds were big and comfy, the bathroom was immaculate, as was the whole room. The staff do not speak great English but they were still helpful. We were able to call our next accommodation from their phone. Location is also very good - bear to restaurants and a great travel agents (miss noys) we would stay here again

Affordable life saver!”

My stay here coincided with a horrible stomach bug. This hotel was a lifesaver! The room and bathroom were clean, there was a Western-style toilet, and the location was perfect. I didn't experience much else of the hotel, but it was great for resting and the Indian restaurant across the street was cheap and tasty.
