We had a nice and confortable stay with great food and friendly hosts”

The food was great and accomodation good. It's a little bit out of town but a true resort to stay for a few days before going to the south or doing the loop. The hosts were very friendly. There is the possibility of doing cooking classes and to play table tennis.

Ngoc (the owner) was very helpful and arranged everything we required. Location excellent for getting to 4000 Islands. Lovely gardens and lovely restaurant upstairs - food was very good.

comfy and clean”

Lovely little guesthouse on the way in to Pakse. The only downside is that you are quite far from the main town but the food and drinks here are really good and if you are with transport or renting bikes it's no problem. Clean and comfy double room with a/c. Ngoc is really friendly and will help in any way she can.

Great surrounding with an amazing host”

I sent an e-mail the day before our arrival to the owner if she could arrange a small suprise for my girlfriends birthday (she turned 30 that day). She only read the mail on her birthday, so was really ashamed a bit and wanted to give a suprise the day after. She had candles on top of a creme caramel and a rose from the garden, which was a great suprise. The food she served was very good. The rooms were clean and the garden was great. Her husband even drove me to an ATM for money when 2 others close by didn't work. The tour to the Bolaven plateau was not that special, but was done by an external company. We would recommend renting a motorcycle somewhere and explore by yourselves, but we were in the middle of the rainy season (it was raining a lot), so opted for an organized tour. We regretted that we didn't took her cooking classes instead as everybody seems to like it a lot. Overall it was a great stay and we would recommend this place and the terrific host!

Ngoc (I hope I spelled correctly) I think is the loveliest lady that has ever walked the planet ! We stayed at Xuanmai resort for three nights and we loved it. It was a perfect base for getting to the waterfalls. Try the Bobun Chicken it is incredible. The rooms are very clean and comfy. I wish her every success as she deserves it.

Cannot meet standards in this category of hotels”

Hotel is quite a way from city center...not easy to locate as there is only a small sign board and a dirt road leading to the hotel. One half of the garden resort (3 large bungalow-type of houses with a separate building for kitchen and dining) is developed and the other part is under development (long-term). Assigned room: Wifi in room doesq not work at all (even though hotel intro says Wifi in all rooms) and in dinning area extremely limited only, the aircon can barely keep the room cool, fan makes noises, old TV, bathroom smelly (no fan/no window) Garden area ok, water pond nearly empty. Very friendly and helpful manager

Perfect stay ”

The owner was very friendly, lovely and helpful. The rooms were very clean and the beds comfortable. The breakfast and especially the dinner were super delicious!! We ate every evening in the hotel. We rented a scooter and bought bus tickets for a sleepingbus and every thing was fine. When you are in Pakse to visit the Bolaven Plateau just rent a scooter. It is NOT importent to have an accomandation near to the Center!!!! Even better to have this one, it Is calme and you can relax!! :-)

Great place to stay”

We had a lovely stay here - the setting off the main road is relaxing and the gardens are enjoyabke to walk round. Although outwith the town centre hiring a bike sorts that out and its worth it. Ngoc is so friendly and willing to help sort anything out for you. She organised bikes and onward travel for us and recommended day trips. All in we're very happy and would reccomend to others.

Miles awAy from anywhere when they don't have scooters ”

We arrived there and the receptionist on had not word of english. We asked could we get some food but she didn't know what we wer saying. The owner then called us and said she would get staff to cook us some eggs which was good !. The next day we wanted to rent a scooter to get to the centre but they had all been booked out we wer told. Overall not a great experience. But we wer allowed to keep our bags in our room on checkout day which was a plus. Don't book with the travel agent they have. We got scammed . We got our night bus but when we got to the station our second bus didn t turn up. Tried to call them but they then turned there phone off .

Great service, clean, comfortable room”

Very welcoming and excellent service. The room was large, comfortable and clean. Breakfast overlooking the view was nice. Excellent dinner served for additional cost. Ngok has a restaurant in town and also offers cooking classes. Able to do all bus bookings from hotel. Quiet location a few kms from town. We enjoyed our short stay here.

Hôtel très silencieux, un peu à l écart de la ville (4€ en tuk tuk) Excellent accueil (en français ce qui est un plus). Excellente cuisine (essayer aussi les desserts faits maison) . Vous organise toutes les visites (avec un départ de l hotel) et les transports (Champassak par ex). Je recommande vivement

Adresse sympathique”

A notre arrivée, la chambre n'avait pas visiblement été faite : moutons et draps sales. Le lendemain avons dû voir avec la propriétaire. la chambre a été nettoyée mais il semble que les draps n'aient pas été changés intégralement : tâche au même endroit.. Rebelotte pour les draps.. Sinon chambre sympa, équipe sympa et bonne nourriture. Cours de cuisine possible sur place, payant. Séjour très bien après le changement des draps.

Ville de passage ”

Les repas sont très bons le petit déjeuner un peu moins les chambres sont grandes et confortables demander celles côté jardin les autres côtoient les poulaillers environnant et vous ne pourrez pas dormir. Trop loin de tout si pas de véhicule et nous n'avons pas pu en louer un. La propriétaire est charmante vous pouvez prendre des cours de cuisine avec elle.

haben dort 2 Nächte verbracht, die Eigentümerin Ngoc war stets sehr zuvorkommend, hat gefragt was wir essen wollen, damit Sie einkaufen gehen kann( zu jeder Mahlzeit gab es gratis Obst). & Jeden Tag gabs Frische Handtücher. Sie organisiert einem alles, ob Scooter, Busse um weiter zu fahren. Alles in allem, einfach toll dort, würde jederzeit wieder hinfahren!
