We booked three beds in the mixed dorm room at Tropical Temple Siargao and overall had a pleasant stay. The space was good and clean, and the comfort room was well-maintained and tidy. However, I think they could improve their towels and bedsheets, as it was quite evident that they’ve been used for a while and could use an upgrade. One thing we appreciated was the reception staff. They were very approachable and accommodating. Even though we arrived at 7 AM and check-in wasn't until 2 PM, they kindly allowed us to leave our luggage at the reception and even checked them in for us. That gesture made things a lot more convenient for us. However, the staff at the restaurant could use some improvement. Compared to the warm and helpful attitude of the front desk, the service at the restaurant felt less attentive and could’ve been more welcoming. Overall, it's a great place to stay if you’re looking for a chill and budget-friendly spot in Siargao. Just hoping they invest a little in refreshing the linens and improving the service at the restaurant for an even better guest experience.
We had a pleasant stay at Tropical Temple Siargao, booked via Agoda. The resort has a beautiful, aesthetic, and very Instagrammable vibe that made our experience even more enjoyable. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed by the staff with refreshing welcome drinks and a personalized note with our names on it — such a thoughtful touch! The location is about a 5-minute ride or a 25-minute walk to General Luna. There are a few nearby convenience stores and restaurants, though not as many as in GL. The main facilities include a clean swimming pool and a cozy common area that also serves as their dining space, as they have an in-house restaurant. While the price is mid-range — not too cheap but not overly expensive — we do wish the villas had a TV and a small fridge for added convenience. Still, the room was clean, and housekeeping was available upon request daily. Overall, it's a charming spot perfect for those who want a peaceful stay with a stylish setting.
We stayed in their standard room for 6 nights. Our room and the entire hotel was clean and well maintained. Good location and there are always tricycles outside the hotel to get around. The staff was very accommodating and would always offer to clean our rooms/provide fresh towels, so it was so nice coming home to a clean room after a long day of activities. You can also rent a beach towel for 50php. Our shower heater wasn’t working at first, but they immediately fixed it for us. Bathroom was clean but I wish they had a space to store toiletries somewhere. They don’t have a hair dryer, but you can request from the front desk. Their restaurant opens early so we were able to grab breakfast before our early morning tours. Make sure to also try their happy hour which is available everyday! Perfect for when you’re lounging by the pool. Overall great stay!

“Honest Experience at Tropical Temple Inn”
I recently spent 10 days (9 nights) at Tropical Temple Inn in Siargao and wanted to share my honest impressions of the experience. Room and Amenities I booked a single bed in an 8-bunk mixed dorm room, which suited me well. The bed was comfortable, soft, and impeccably clean, with the added convenience of being able to request fresh linens every three days along with daily towel changes. Each bunk comes equipped with its own lighting and an outlet for charging devices. Although there is a storage cabinet placed separately in front of the bunk beds area, there is also a small, lengthy cabinet within the room that fits small items perfectly, offering secure storage for personal belongings. Welcome Experience One aspect that left me a bit disappointed was that I was not offered my welcome drink upon arrival—a small gesture that would have made the start of my stay more pleasant. Bathroom Facilities Each cubicle in the dormitory provides a private restroom area that includes two bowls—one with a bidet and one without—and a shower. This setup is practical, though an improvement would be to install bidet functionality on both bowls. Daily cleaning services and regular replenishment of bathroom tissues helped maintain a hygienic environment, but an automatic refill system for toiletries like toothbrushes would have been beneficial. Common Areas and Other Facilities The reception area is quite inconspicuous; I nearly missed it upon arrival. The inn features a pool, but its enjoyment was marred by the presence of too many mosquitoes. Additionally, there is an on-site restaurant, but the prices are steep, so I opted not to dine there. Location and Maintenance The inn’s location is excellent—situated close to top attractions, restaurants, and cafes in Siargao. However, maintenance issues did arise during my stay: the availability of electricity was inconsistent, and the air conditioning, which can only be controlled by staff, often remained off after power outages, resulting in uncomfortably warm conditions.
