Amazing stay ”
The stuffy are so friendly, I arrived at night and I was using a maps.me to find a place but it showed me the wrong way to the another hostel because they have 2, but the owner was so kind and gave me a ride until the correct hostel. The breakfast was amazing and the view from the commun area is so cool. It's near at the bus terminal. For sure I'm gonna stay there again after the loop.

Stayed just one night and found the rooms very minimal and crawling with ants, moths, spiders. Had to move because we found bed bus in the firth few minutes of being in one of the rooms. The girl who was working late night reception was very kind to help up move out of that room. The toilets were not to my liking, I found them pretty gross. To be fair this was the closest place to the bus station which is why we picked it. It was very late at night when arriving to Thakek. In the morning they made us a pretty decent breakfast sandwich with coffee or tea. The view of their lake area is pretty cute as well and very peaceful. If ratings were solely based on staff attitude, breakfast and the ambiance from that morning it would be much higher.

Bed Bugs!! I found one as I arrived to the hostel and they moved me to the only available bed next to the one I was supposed to be in. Assured that there are no more bedbugs... I woke up at night surrounded by bed bugs and bitten all over! The staff claimed I brought them in.. but I found them before I was even in the bed the night before! Everything just to blame others. Toilets and showers are absolutely disgusting and everything is broken. No toilet seat or no working shower... just don’t expect anything. Breakfast was actually good! And very close to the bus station. Nothing else.

I left the bag and went climbing. I opened my bag while checking out, and I could not see the money, so I felt very bad.

I came very late in the night (Lao transportation and horrible roads) - I had no issues to check in. The room was really nice. Bathrooms a little bit far away and poor quality but it doesn;t matter. Very nice breakfast, great views and places to chillout.
