We arrived the villa around 11pm as the ferry has long queue during public holiday. Mr Chris waited patiently and welcome us warmly when we arrive. The design of the villa is very modern and the ventilation of the villa is nice. Most importantly, you have nice view during breakfast as the the owner invite us to their villa for breakfast. As sum, it worth the money.

Perfectly quiet, comfort & peaceful place to rest”
We love this villa so much, it's a newly build European style villa. One nearest neighbor we have is 30 meters away. The air flow inside this villa is incredible. There's a restaurant within 1 minutes walk, they provide western and batak foods and straight next to lake Toba. If you want to go to a "crowded" area which has a lot of bars, restaurants, souvenir shops, you can reach it within 10-15 minutes by bike. Ask for the owner. The owner really attentive to us, he drove tissue rolls every day, known that we are group of 12 (he allow us to stay with reasonable extra charge). He give us wifi quota, 500mb a day. If you need anything urgently to ask, he's willing to be contacted even though it's already late night.

Super Unterkunft etwas vom Trubel TukTuks entfernt”
Wir wurden vom Besitzer bereits am Steg abgeholt obwohl wir die Ankknftszeit nicht mitgeteilt hatten. Sehr freundlicher Empfang. Im Hotel Tuktuk timbul kann man gut essen, hier wird Laundry angeboten und Roller werden hier ebenfalls vermietet. Mit dem Roller ist man schnell in Tuktuk. Auch bei der Planung der Weiterreise haben die Besitzer super unterstützt und einen Fahrer organisiert, der uns sogar einen Tag später von Medan aus zum Flughafen gefahren hat. Daher super Aufenthalt. Leider ist die Villa nicht direkt am See jedoch das Hotel TukTuk Timbul. Wir würden wieder hier her kommen - optimal natürlich für Familien oder Gruppen, da super 6 Personen übernachten können.

Traumtage in herrlicher Lage”
Als wir ankamen, wurden wir schon erwartet und herzlich empfangen. Das Häuschchen liegt oberhalb des Sees mit schöner Aussicht. Es ist ansprechend und nach europäischem Standard ausgestattet. Wir haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Zum Frühstück und Abendessen sind wir ins dazugehörige Restaurant gegangen. Die Fischgerichte waren sehr lecker und extrem Preisgünstig. Frühstück gibt es a la carte. Selbstverpflegung wäre auch möglich. Wir haben uns ein Moped, auch preisgünstig, gemietet und schöne Tipps vom Hausherren bekommen. Die Touren waren wunderschön mit herrlichen Ausblicken. Die deutschsprechenden Vermieter haben sich rührend um uns gekümmert und uns herzlichst verabschiedet.

Top ausgestattetes Ferienhaus...”
Da in der näheren Umgebung alles ausgebucht war, entschlossen wir uns, die Villa Durian zu buchen und waren angenehm überrascht. Das Haus ist noch ganz neu, somit ist Innen und Außen alles picco bello. Von hinten hat man einen tollen Blick von oben auf den Lake Toba. Wer schwimmen möchte, geht 50m ins angrenzende Tuk Tuk Timbul, wo man unter anderem auch den Kinderpool mitbenutzen kann (wir waren mit unseren zwei kleinen Kindern unterwegs). Möchte man nicht selbst kochen, gibt es dort auch ein gutes Restaurant, mit toller Terrasse direkt am See. Ansonsten erinnert die Ausstattung an ein Ferien-Chalet in den Alpen, man merkt, dass die Eigentümer österreichische Wurzeln haben. Vom Haarfön über Kaffeemaschine ist alles vorhanden. Zudem wurden wir sehr nett betreut... Wir kommen gerne mal wieder.
