In the heart of Jiaoxi and when you stay with Wellspring by silks; you also access to Just Sleep Jiaoxi. Means pay for one hotel and you can enjoy 2 hotels facilities. Happy Hour is also a plus with access of free booze and snacks. Infinity pool and SPA... we enjoyed a lot and we have been coming back to stay with Wellspring by silks so many times. Recommended for sure

While it doesn't have 5-stars this nicely designed boutique hotel is a pleasant, fresh breeze in Taiwanese generally disappointing hotel industry. What we appreciated the most: (1) Staff service standards are excellent, (2) Everything is new/well maintained, (3) Nice roof-top facilities including Onsen overlooking Jiaoxi, (4) Happy hour & snacks/coffee in lobby, (5) Nicely-appointed rooms, (6) Really comfortable bed, (7) Good location with convenient parking on B1. What we didn't enjoy: (1) Despite the statement on their website, there were no drink or food options by the pool. They say they have a Roof Bar, but they don't, (2) Restaurant options were also limited with hot pot only, (3) Breakfast buffet does not cater to international clientele, (4) Private hot spring area in the room is noisy and opposite to relaxing (because of intensive traffic outside and other hotel guests playing loudly with their phones), (5) Even if the weather in the evening was nice they didn't play the movie on the rooftop (called A Theatre of Stars). Generally it's a nice hotel, but not for this price tag.

Enjoyable stay ”
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. The room was nicely decorated, clean and fairly spacious. The pool and hot springs upstairs were enjoyable...it was nice soaking in there under the stars. The elevators were slow and breakfast could have had a better variety, but overall, we enjoyed our stay. Staff is specially sweet and cordial. We will definitely come back!

Hotel is clean and creates this cozy feeling as soon as you walk into the lobby. Staff are fairly friendly and helpful. Hotel even offers unlimited snacks and wines during certain period, I think its pretty thoughtful. There also has movie played right on the rooftop as Jiaoxi can be quiet and steady during weekday which can be a backup plan to kill time if you got nowhere to go.

My friends and I had a relaxing stay at Wellsprings. The beds were super comfortable, and we enjoyed the private hot spring tub in the room after the rooftop pools closed for the night. The staff was very accommodating and followed all pandemic protocols; everything felt safe and clean. Its location is also very convenient in the center of town and can easily access all sorts of good food nearby. Would definitely recommend a stay here if you're looking for a place to relax and unwind for a few days.

Pros: In-room hot bath pool, can use hot pool and bicycles from Just Sleep, rooftop movie and hot pool are cool, location is perfect. Cons: Breakfast is poor for a 4-5 star hotel, didn’t expect car park building is at the end of the street - will be helpful for Agoda to put up a map where the car park is.

While this is not a 5-star hotel it is an above-average and relaxing boutique hotel. PROS -Great service and friendly staff -Drinks and free happy hour in lobby -Nice roof-top facilities overlooking Jiaosi -Nicely-appointed rooms -Comfortable bed -Good location -Nice male and female Onsens accessible to the adjoining JustSleep hotel CONS -Rooms quite small -In-room hot spring tubs tiny and barely functional -Breakfast buffet does not cater to international clientele; fruit not properly prepared and sliced—just dumped on the buffet table -Breakfast staff slow to clear away used dishes

Although it was not as good as I expected from seeing the photos on the website, the hotel looked better than most of the other hotels in the area. It's close to the main streets and the train station, but about 10 mins walk from the bus station. Breakfast was pretty good, and the employees were friendly and spoke english well enough.

There was also no drink or food options by the pool. Restaurant options were also limited with hot pot which is not ideal for summer
