It is at the “HaiZhu square”, 10 minutes walk away from Beijing Road which is the shopping street. It is next to the metro station of “HaiZhu Square”. Should try out at the restaurant at 9th floor of the hotel which is “Ying deng” the dimSum there are nice and introduced by local. It is 4 minutes away from the “Zhu Jiang”, famous river at Guang Zhou. Besides, check out some nice foods around BeiJing Road! =) You can take bus from the hotel to Macau and hongkong, tickets are sold near the lobby of the hotel!

This hotel has all things we need to stay couple of days. Room is quiet spacious, clean, equipped with free internet cable, which through our laptop, turns to be free wifi in the whole room, where we can use laptop, handphone and ipad at the same time. Staff can speak quite good english. The best thing is that this hotel really just few steps from Beijing Rd pedestrian street, Huifu Food Street,10mins walk along Beijing rd to Gongyuanquan Metro Station, 15mins walk to Tianzi Wharf to enjoy the boat cruise. It also near to Haizhu Square, even our 5 years old daughter didn't feel tired to walk along Taikang Road (hardware trading market) to One Link Trade Market (Toys+souvenir market),Binbin Plaza all around Haizhu Sq. I think it's really perfect accomodation for us in Guangzhou for travelling with family and for trading business..

Facing the Pearl River and around the corner from Haizhu Square, Landmark Canton Hotel has one of the best locations in the city. Although the rooms were small but clean, service was excellent - the staff is ever-ready to help the guests. A short distance away is Beijing Rd, a pedestrian street which is very much alive after the establishments in the city have closed. Shops are open till late and has a good selection of restaurants to choose from.

The location of the hotel is accessible. Not longer than 5 minutes walk to Peasant Metro Station, and not longer than 10 minutes walk to Beijing Road. Room attendant on the ball, always smiling and helpful to clean up the mess whenever called upon. The staffs at reception were friendly. The only down side was my 3rd and 4th night internet connection was intermittent. Overall, my Wife and I are satisfied with the service and for sure to return.

Stayed 2 nights in December 2011, booked 3 rooms - all the rooms are different. The rooms are comfortable, clean and spacious. Free computer usage with internet connection (a bit slow though) in the room. The staff are friendly and helpful. Fast service during check in. Great location, at the end of Beijing Road, one of the shopping havens in Guangzhou. A nice walk along the road would bring you to Tianzi Wharf, where one can go for the Pearl River Cruise (around 20 to 30mins walk). Along Beijing Road you can find lots of shops selling clothes, bags and shoes, and many eateries too. As it is located in Yuexiu District, many of the attractions of Guangzhou are not very far. Highly recommend this hotel to all travelers.

The hotel is located right beside Mayflower Shopping Mall, so it's easy to direct the taxi drivers to the hotel. The room looks absolutely brand new, and there are lots of free movies on-demand and drama series in the tv box. Everything works perfectly fine for me throughout my 6 nights stay, so I will definitely come back again the next time. Not the say the hotel receptionists are more than willing to help out in answering my questions and pointing of directions to the places I need to visit. The GongYuanQian Train Station is located right underneath (Exit E), Beijing Road is about 3mins walk to the start, and that's pretty much about it. Highly recommended.

We booked a room with one queen bed but got upgraded to one with two queen beds, so we were very pleased with it. Very spacious and convenient with a kitchenette and washing machine available (they provided us with detergent as well). We washed our clothes every night (as the weather was very hot and our clothes were soaked in sweat) and the clothes always dries overnight in the toilet. The hotel is very centrally located with the metro nearby and a shopping centre connected on the ground floor. Just outside the hotel are shopping streets with Beijing Road and many eateries just nearby. Highly recommended and extremely value for money for groups!

At first, we not choosing this hotel. Just because the earlier hotel we've booked, at LAST minutes informed to us that our room was NOT booked even we had made payment to them. Agoda CC was contact to me and choosing this hotel. I've found that the location for this hotel was too far from the hotel we booked earlier. but how? From the date departure, we just left 5 or 6 days only. So I confirmed with Agoda for this hotel. As we reached to the hotel, although it might be slightly 'old' for this hotel but after few days stay nothing gotta complaint about this hotel. All of us just 3 person (with my mom along). For the space of the room with add-on a bed is enough for us. Bathroom & toiletries and a hairdryer was ready. For the staffs was also friendly and able to help. It's 800m from MRT station and there's restaurant nearby to the hotel. I was just satisfied with the stay also is value for money.

Last time I reserved the cheapest room and I thought it was acceptable. This is my second time staying at nanfang dasha and I thought I would pay the extra $10usd to upgrade to the pearl river view exec room. It is totally worth the extra money. I highly recommend you to pay the extra money for the better room. Already by reserving the room threw Agoda you will have a great price compared to walk-in customers. But the upgraded room makes a world of a difference. People who write negative reviews for this hotel must be used to staying at 5 star hotels or something ? This is in GUANGZHOU. If you can't handle dealing with this hotel and the room quality I don't think you can handle doing business or anything in Guangzhou. Negative reviewers need to remember they are in the center of the electronic market in a very low priced hotel but like I said it is well worth the price. I wouldn't stay anywhere else. shipping company's and everything you need are down stairs.

On first look, the reception is located at level 14 and rather hard to locate, as there were several other receptions. Note that the serviced apartments were managed by several other operators. So with Hakka apartment, we got a friendly and trouble free check in. The apartment is generally clean, and looks luxurious. We also have no problems asking for more towels and bathroom essentials. The king size beds were slightly hard but still ok. Best of all, it's the location, right at the heart of Beijing Road, and above a large shopping mall. Everything: food and shopping can be done within walking distances. Nearest subway is about 10 mins walk. Highly recommended.

The hotel staff were okay, they weren't rude. The lady in the business room below was very helpful. She kindly directed the bus I could take down to Beijing road for only RMB 2! Bus No.236. There you could do all the last minute shopping for souveniers if you're on a pack business trip. The restaurant below serves a variety of food from eastern to western, although the price isn't as budget but it tastes good and opens till 11:30PM. There is a 7-11 too. The wifi from my room in 7th floor is fast! Bedsheet is not 100% white and clean, toilet isn't sparkling but its bearable. Good!

location was close to many attractions that my family needed to visit. Walking distance to the Pearl River wharf to purchase cheaper tickets for the night cruise (compared to the tickets touted at Beijing Lu). Less than 10min walk to go for the 3:30pm Sunday English Mass at Sacred Heart Cathedral. 7-10min walk to station depending on speed. Passed by alot of dried goods wholesalers selling mushrooms, fish maw, sea cucumbers, scallops etc. Enjoyed my morning jogs by the pearl River across the road- Hotel view blocked by China Bank but once across the road, jogging with locals doing taichi and fishing feels nice. Haizhu Station is way further a walk say 15mins and I didn't have time to explore coz I was busy at Shoe City - 3 buildings of shoe wholesalers which is a also 15min walk from hotel but worth it. Lot of toy wholesalers along the way to shoe City if that's ur thing. Guangzhou is basically wholesalers Paradise but they allow u to buy for individual orders. Staff were really friendly and helpful in telling me where was what. When I struggled with my mandarin, I simply showed them my Google pictures of places and they directed me. Even helped me book better transport for my group to the railway station. Enjoyed my stay.

*excellent location, excellent value for money - you get more than what you pay for *safe neighborhood - 1st 3 floors makes up a small mall, *on the 4th floor you can detox after a long day of walking *very clean room with comfortably large king bed and huge bathroom with bath tub *with an enchanting view of the pearl river - on your own balcony *5 minutes away from mrt stations *buses pass by the hotel as well, grab is accessible too *plenty of restaurants on side streets *located in front of haizhu square

hotel is clean & quiet,few steps to river & you could take river view room.500 meter to beijing road metro station may be 400 meter to haizou square station. Breakfast mostly chinese food. Front desk lady was non professional & you should be careful up on check in.my booking was to pay at hotel for 2 nights & she gave us different price from our agoda booking but we refused & paid only same as agoda booking price after long conversation with her. We extend another 2 nights with new agoda booking for different room but paid in full to agoda. We was shocked with the same lady improper response and questioning us how we got such low price & this price can't be given to us. Of course we fight with her & asked for her manager & insist for our booking &room price of agoda. And if there is any mistake it is between hotel & agoda & not us. Manager gave room of agoda price & said after one hour it will be ready.Later she tried to give different room when i loud my voice to give same room

The traffic is very convenient, and there are convenience stores and supermarkets in the vicinity, because in Beijing Road, the scenic spots which belong to the city center are also very close. There is a nice Sri Lanka restaurant nearby, but I forget the name, the hotel is good in all directions, and the front desk is very enthusiastic. To find out, there are a lot of wholesale markets around, like clothes, shoes, bags, and jewellery. All kinds of style, this is one of my big gains.

I booked a double room which is spacious and neat. The beds and floors were clean however there was a stain on the sofa and toilet was very small. The location is a bit far from haizhu metro station, takes around 15 mins of walk from exit F, past zhujiang river and left turn into a small lane. There is an eatery near the entrance of apartment which often has many customers and thus it feels safer to walk into the small lane late at night. One good thing about this location is that it is very near Beijing road of less than 10mins walk to it. However, you will need to walk quite a distance down to the other end of Beijing road that is more lively. There is a seven-eleven and also some chinese restaurants at nearby yanjiang road. The hotel staffs were not so friendly, they did not help me to book cab.

Hotel is just about 5 minutes walk away from Haizhu Square MRT Station. In the morning, you can get to enjoy a wide variety of breakfast selections along the streets just outside the hotel and at night, you can even get food from a roadside stall selling great tze char just opposite the hotel. The hotel room is extremely spacious and hygienic. The only con we faced was a clogged up toilet bowl during our stay there. Other than that, there were absolutely no complains we have for this hotel!

Staffs doesnt speak english Location is within walking distance from Yidelu station, but the road from the mrt station to the hotel gets dark and quiet in the evening. It is also near Sun Yat Sen 2nd hospital. There is no fridge in the room. There is hair dryer in the bathroom. Room smells like smoke and toilet sometimes. The bathroom door is a see- through glass seeable from the room. There is Aiqishi that can be watched in the TV

The hotel is conveniently located 6min walk from Haizhu Square Station with access to Lines 2 & 6. It is a short walk to Beijing Rd shopping malls, restaurants & eateries. Also, the hotel is a stone's throw from the Zhujiang River. Hence, its location is exceptional. However, what impresses me most was the staff relentless efforts to assist with our enquiries to locate certain addresses. Specifically, Ms Li Wen Feng & her colleague (unfortunately I didnt get her name). Kudos to these 2 ladies

Historical Aiqun Mansion Hotel (1930,highest blg) Mahogany trims & furniture, big closets and bathroom. Nice greeting by front desk staff. Requested NON-SMOKING but got smoking rm which was changed to a non-smoking rm right away after we complain. No complimentary bottles of water in room. Staff said to boil tap water in electrical kettle instead but you can buy bottled water nearby. 3 Asian Restaurants on 13th, 15th, 16th fl (360 Spin restaurant). Dim Sum served. Meals must be paid in RMB. No credit card machine. Try 68 RMB economy 4 course dinner.(Delicious) 64" Shower curtain too short so donate a couple of 72" shower curtain & shower curtain rings when you come. Walking distance to Xidi Wharf to take Pearl Rv. cruise.

The location of this building is excellent! 1) Is only 2 mins walk to Exit F of Haizhu Square Metro station. You just have to cross the road and cut across a park. Haizhu Square Metro is also an interchange station, making it accessible to more venues. 2) The Airport Shuttle Express (Line 5) alights its passengers near Exit B1 of Haizhu Metro station. You can just take the underpass tunnel and walk towards Exit F to get to the apartment. The only snag is that Exit B1 does not have escalators, so you got to struggle down the stairs if you have larger luggages. 3) Food is abundant in the immediate surrounding. Several eateries along Qiyi Lu if you are looking for simple food. Our favourite restaurant in the vicinity is the Chinese restaurant on the 9th floor of Onelink Plaza. Good dim sum and chinese food. We also liked another Chinese restaurant along Beijing Lu called Hoi Fan (开饭）. The waitress here was very patient and polite, while we took a while to decide what to order from the menu. 4) For shopping, Yide Lu is a great wholesale street. Onelink Plaza is a 9-storey shopping complex with everything under one roof. If you walk further down the whole stretch of Yide Lu, you will find wholesale shops dealing with toys, clothes, seafood, plastic bags, furniture, and electronics. Very interesting street if you have the time and energy. The shopping street at Beijing Lu is one metro station away, or 10-15 minutes walk away. You can take a leisurely walk there, passing by rows of shops all along the way. Interesting shops... 5) As for the apartment at S-International Service Apartments, the building is called Wanyi International Plaza. it has some shops on the ground floor. The apartments upstairs are owned by different owners. S-International owns several units there. One complain is that the office of S-International relocated from unit 1006 to 1408. They did not bother to inform us, and when we arrived at 1006, we were appalled to find a loc

Good location for shopping. 10 min walk to the subway and plenty of wholesale shopping malls around. It was a bit difficult to find at first time because there wasn't any sign in english with the property name. I used googlemap to find that place and had to ask two times in the same buidling to find reception. Even there wasn't any sign or logo of Civil Finance Building Apartment. There were two reception desks with different property names and when i show my booking in phone then they discussed with each other few minutes something in chinese and finally said to go to the otrher desk. This was a bit confusing but room was great. Really big for a single traveler. I was happy to find a washing machine. Laundry service is a bit overpriced at the hotels in China.

Good-- 1.Close to many wholesale markets,Beijing road, Haizhu square,Airport Shuttle bus station. 2.MRT (Beijing road station) just across the road. 3.Room is quite big compare to the price. So If you don't expect much about the room and facility in the hotel,this hotel may be your answer. 4.Easy to find Bad-- 1.Bad Wifi (Almost no connection in my room) 2.Low Cleanliness(dirty towel) 3.Old facilities 4.Should not call "Serviced Apartment 'cos there is no kitchen. They just have a mini counter with sink and rotten stove. 5.We booked the room with one queen size bed for 3 nights also request for late check-in('cos our flight would arrived there ard 1.00am),but for my first night stay. They let us wait for 30mins then gave us the room with twin beds and told us to change the room again next day. Bad! 6.This hotel is a small business inside the real Guangzhou Continental Service Apartment ,so you have to check-in on 12 Floor where they called "office" ...Bad!

I stayed at this hotel as it is across the road from the Guangzhou Provincial Hospital, and walking distance from Haizhu Square Metro station. When I checked in I took a. Chinese friend with me, as the language skills of the friendly check in staff were quite limited. There were no problems. The room was simple, not so clean, and the bathroom large and functional. The hotel is on a busy road, but the rooms at the rear are quiet, and sleep quality is excellent. It is good value for money. I would stay there again.
