Even you book through Agoda. Please be aware cuz they will not pay attention to these kind of bookin”
I had booking with Agoda for one night, luckyly I have changed my mind to stay in another resort but still need to pay what I had booked. I went to this hotel and pay but they said they did not even have my booking. So, I did not paid anything but just need to say even you have book through Agoda, not expect that you will get room from this hotel.

Arriving at the Xaysana hotels I was moved around between 1, 2 and 3 because the staff of each wanted to avoid the work of having an extra guest. The staff at 2 said that 3 should accept me because I had paid for wifi and they didn't have any. But 3 told me to go away because I had no booking. So I stayed at 2 but visited 3 in the evenings to get wifi. The staff at 3 were unfriendly to the point of never speaking to me, even to say Sabaidee. Before explaining any more, I should point out that these are Chinese, not Laos, hotels, and except for the manager, the staff have no Laos or English. The manager has a very small amount of English. The room was nice and comfortable. The bed was good and the linen was clean. The bathroom had a small water heater and a dirty toilet. The toilet seat was a mess of cigarette burns and other material. Although the rooms are non-smoking, most the guests probably couldn't read the signs in Lao and English. Or didn't care. Breakfast is included. But the first morning I got there at 10 minutes to 9 and almost all of the food was gone. There was stale bread and coffee, and those were taken away at 9am. The next morning I arrived earlier and asked if there were eggs or vegetables. The head of the kitchen staff rudely told me no, laughed and waved me away. The bread was even staler, so I just had coffee. Overall, I'd say that the rooms are ok, but everything else is a disaster unless you are a Chinese smoker who doesn't want wifi. 4/10 for the room and 1/10 for the service.
New hotel let down by frustrating check-in”
We had a rather frustrating time on the day we checked in. The female staff at the reception, who didn’t still a single word of English, had no clue at all what to do with our prepaid booking. Two other staff who came to her rescue were equally clueless. So, it seemed the staff were totally unfamiliar with the concept of online booking. More than 20 minutes later and having to deal with three front desk staff who didn’t speak English and talked to a 4th person over the phone who spoke just enough English, we managed to check-in after striking a compromise to give them a photocopy of our passports only (they wanted our original passports for safekeeping which we refused). However, until we checked-out, we felt uncertain if they would honour our pre-paid booking and still made us pay in cash!

ラオス旅行にある程度慣れた人にとっては大変良いホテル。アゴダでの予約情報がフロントスタッフにうまく伝わっていなかったのは要改善点。

Het hotel had geen reservering noch betaling van agoda ontvangen. Ze beweren dat ze de samenwerking met agoda al een jaar hebben stopgezet! Het bedrag is wel van onze rekening en hebben zelf ook nog moeten betalen! We weten niet waar de fout ligt en zouden graag ons geld terug hebben. In afwachting boeken we niet meer met agoda! Agoda is ook niet per mail te bereiken,jammer!
